  this hotel is perfect for a city break in Lisbon, it is in a great central location. it is very safe, clean and modern. the rooms are small but are comfortable and clean!! the staff were absolutely lovely & made us feel so welcome.great value for money!   Way overpriced.

  For the exorbitant price I paid, (over $400 per night) I was shocked to discover that the small lodge had no foyer, no lobby, no place to sit, lift only works from 1st floor (2 landings to drag one's bag up if no one is available to help) and no breakfast included. The room was a small studio with minimal conveniences. All this place had going for it was its location - right in the middle of many restaurants and close to the water. We offer a more informal, urban-style stay in a restored historic building, which comes with certain architectural limitations — such as the elevator starting from the 1st floor, a common feature in traditional Lisbon buildings.In regard to the rate: we believe there may have been a misunderstanding. Our nightly rates do not reach $400 — it’s likely that the amount refers to the total cost of the stay, not per night.   Unique Hotel in a Central Location with Great Service

  This is a unique hotel with great service. We arrived very early in the morning and the hotel had emailed all the required passcodes for us to get in. The room was clean and neat with a complimentary bottle of wine, two Pastel del Natas and bottle of filtered water. We normally don't have housekeeping come in on a daily basis so the hostess emailed us every day to ask what we needed. Once we replied, she was prompt in delivering the items to us. The location of the hotel was in a great neighbourhood, very close to restaurants, the Metro station, shops, and sights. It was quiet in the lodge. There are stairs to the 2nd floor and then a single elevator for the rest of the floors. Overall, we would stay here again if we come back to Lisbon.   Best hotel we've had in quite a while

  This was our favourite hotel in a long time. Service was excellent, room size was generous. Beds were separate as requested. Late arrival instructions were clear and timely. Free wine and pastries as a welcome gift were nice, and the filtered water each day was appreciated. Air conditioning was excellent. Room was clean. You have to carry luggage up one set of stairs to get to the elevator but the staff will take care of that for you if needed. Fun neighbourhood with good access to trams and metro.   decent economy hotel but bring your earplugs

  Hotel had a good price and is in a good location if you want to be near the shopping. This is on the corner of a pedestrian street and only 1/2 block from the main pedestrian shopping area in the Baixa area in Lisbon. It's a short, easy walk to the waterfront/esplanade. They had a very nice welcoming touch in the room with a bottle of water, small bottle of nice wine and some pastel de nada. The room was small, with no storage. There was a short pole with hangars for a few items. The shower was good. The bathroom door had some obvious water damage and the walls around the entrance area had many hand prints/fingerprints but the room was otherwise very clean. The bed was comfortable. The room had a juliette balcony but it was too noisy to keep the windows open. Unfortunately, the area was quite noisy with competing bands (until 11 pm) and then loud pedestrians all night long.
