    The calm hotel

    For the price and for a three-star rating, this is a pretty decent hotel. You might have some reservations about the breakfast, but the hotel itself is very clean (it was cleaned daily) and—at least in our room—quite quiet. A metro station is very close by, so you can get to various parts of the city very quickly. A metro line runs directly from the same station to the airport. It was a very pleasant stay at this hotel.

    Great stay. The location is a little out of town, but it is close to various metro lines. It was very easy to get there on the metro from the airport. One line and no changes, The room was very clean and comfortable. There is a fire station across the road, but little noise from there. There is also a supermarket across the road which has a small coffee shop inside.

    Nice Hotel in the City,

    A nice location verry close to the metro. Lots of food options in the immediate area. The hotel does have a restaurant and bar. We did not use the restaurant. The bar was small but well stocked. When we asked for Port Wine, the bartender gave us small samples so we could decide which was most to our liking. The room was clean, comfortable, and very modern. A large shower was a nice treat. The queen bed was two twins set together so this was a little uncomfortable for my wife and me. They have parking but it is VERY limited (10 spaces total for a seven-story hotel) and cannot be reserved. The staff was very helpful in recommending food and transportation options. They do have a baggage check room so if you check out and want to leave your bags, this is possible.One note, there are a couple of Exe brand hotels in the area. This was confusing to our Uber driver. Please make sure you specify the hotel name.

    EXE SALDANHA is a beautiful hotel in a quiet neighbourhood. It is situated directly opposite a large supermarket with a small cafe serving quality espresso, freshly squeezed orange juice and a variety of traditional Portuguese pastries. The hotel is close to public transport options, taking you directly to Lisbon's bustling city centre or out to the international airport. Two parks are within easy walking distance from the hotel. In our room we had a small fridge, a kettle and a hairdryer. Our rooms were cleaned daily and we found the Hotel staff to be friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We would not hesitate to recommend the Exe Saldanha as a convenient, cost effective, enjoyable place to stay. We would happily return should we decide to travel to Lisbon in the future.
