    A school trip in Lisbon

    I was in Lisbon with my students for a school trip, and the experience at Fenicius was great! Rooms were clean and comfortable, The staff have been always kind and professional, in particular the manager of the breakfast service, who even celabrated the birthday of our student. So I recommend this hotel, also because is close to the town center and near to the subway connection.

    BEWARE OF SCAMS!!!Hotel was good but we had to pay for three days of parking spot despite our request for reservation of parking for only one night (we returned our rented car after first night). It was the most expensive 8 hours of parking in my life (45 euro). Hotel went silent after my question if there anything we can do because there is obvious a mistake and I have correspondence asking only for one night of parking. Completely ignored it. So shame.

    Mini rooms for the price of a double room

    I warn you against choosing this hotel. Overall it is at the 3* level, but be careful, always ask the hotel about the square meters of the room you are paying for!!! Massacre, 2 adults in a cubicle, room no. 106, drama! Claustrophobia guaranteed, not to mention the mini shower cabin. You pay for a double room and you get a single room. Not fair. The receptionist just laughed and said there was nothing he could do. Be careful

    Lovely hotel in a great location. Definitely recommend - great value for money and close to metro but also walking distance to town. Rooms are lovely and clean and staff really nice too. We hope to come back and stay again in the warmer months

    Clean hotel but there is a shortage of glasses

    Nice and clean hotel in nearby a Metro station. A few strange things happened. They had a pitcher of icewater in the reception but the glasses were often out. When you ask more glasses they did not have. If you suggested that they pick up from the bar, the answer was that the bar is closed (the bar was closed all the time and even if it was open, they don't sell alcohol there). One evening a member of our party had a birthday and wanted to serve sparkling wine in his room. Again it was difficult to get glasses but they promised to bring 2 glasses. However, these were never imported. Next day when we asked glasses to the icewater pitcher they said that they don't have glasses because they were taken to a room yesterday. The other strange thing was that before our trip I asked by e-mail if they have an airport shuttle and the answer was no they do not have. However, there was an announcement about airport shuttle at the reception. I also asked by e-mail if they can arrange a meeting room nearby and the answer was that they try. When we asked about it in reception, the surprise was great and nobody knew anything about it until I showed them the reply email. Then someone was found in the back room who had heard about it. Portuguese service often seems to be such that it is best to say "no" or "I do not know" first if the customer then stops bothering you
