  Great central location. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was basic, we were only there to sleep so it was perfect for our needs.

  The stay was not good. It was very very bad , the room was a disaster, fungi on the window, dirty bath with stil dark hair and we are both blond also the bath doors were incomplete so if you shower with the hand because their was no holder for the shower everything went wet and slippery the toilet was dirty there was a fluorescent tube lightning in bathroom and also an electrical problem with lot of noise in the Hallway during the night even so bad that i had to solve the problem with a screwdriver, lot of dust on the wardrobe, no blindings in the bathroom, and the baddest thing was REFUGEES OUTSIDE MAKING AL LOT across the street. Only 1 positive point the young lady at the income very friendly. But if you pay €150,- per night you may expect a normal room. Because the pictures you will see on the booking sites are not the same. Do not book here in This hotel. Kind regards Marco and Karine

  Superior Double Room

  The room was clean, recently renovated, with new, neat furniture. Towels were changed daily. But one day, when we returned to the hotel in the evening, there was no towel in the bathroom, old or new, but we immediately received two bath towels from the reception. The breakfast was good. I would like to mention the beautiful dining room.The room corresponded to the description in the booking, with the exception of the window, which looks in the photo as if it opens to the outside, large and bright. In reality, the window is small and opens into a small square, interior, covered space, where other room windows on the other sides also open. For this reason it was almost impossible to breathe. On the fourth day, I had the impression that there was not enough oxygen left in the room.

  Very disappointing

  I was very disappointed with this hotel for the following reasons1. The street itself is quite unsavoury & run down to the point that the female taxi driver was reluctant to drop us off initially 2. As previous reviews state - this is not a hotel for those with mobility issues or seniors. Despite online information stating there is a lift - it is situated on the first floor. On entering the building there is a steep flight of marble stairs to reception. Leaving reception there is another dog leg staircase to the first floor where the bedrooms start & the single person lift is situated. The male receptionist did offer some assistance with our suitcase.3. We were in room 105 on the front of the building looking over the main street which was very noisy throughout the night. Across the road was an external lobby area where groups of people congregated & partied until the early hours.There was also a large recycling centre directly outside hotel which was emptied at about 6.00 am each morning creating more noise. After that the traffic started!4. Bedroom was very basic but of sufficient size for 2 people. Bathroom however, was smelly, in poor repair (see photos) & became infested with ants & larvae (see video). I reported this to reception but was told nothing could be done until following day - by which time the problem had become much worse5. The public reception area was tiny & did not provide a suitable shared area whilst waiting for other people or transport 6. On checking out of the hotel I asked on reception for some help to bring my suitcase down the 38 steps but received only a very rude & dismissive response. We are aged 73 & 81 but the female receptionist was not interested in my dilemma & just continued to ignore me. Thankfully a male guest appeared & carried our luggage downstairs.On a positive note the hotel was within easy reach of the main square, restaurants & local transport.

  Not for seniors!

  Not a hotel for seniors, there are 3 flights of stairs before you can get to the elevator. The one elevator was not working. There is no help to carry your luggage. We struggled getting our luggage up and down the stairs. The stairs are very dark, no one our friends fell down while carrying her luggage. They offered breakfast but it was an additional charge. The staff was friendly but unable to help with our struggles. The rooms were adequate.
