  GOOD LOCATION AND VALUE FOR MONEY

  It is central in location and one can take public transport to the harbour and the other tourist areas . Neighbourhood is peceful and there is a small super market right next but it closes at 8 pm .The check in was smooth and we had booked an ensuite room but most of the rooms have shared toilets . Breakfast was good though limited menu . There is common kitchen with all appliances and a large fridge and tables to have your own food as the restaurant closes after breakfast . There is a coffee and soft drinks dispensing machine between the reception and the restaurant but you will miss it unless you look for it .

  This hostel isn't exactly instagrammable, but it's better for it! No guest kitchen, despite what their website claims. A possible inconvenience is boys and girls washrooms are on alternating floors. Halls and lounges are bare, TBH it looks a bit institutional, but if you're here to sleep and chill, you're in the right place. The breakfast (included) didn't start until 8am(!) Check in starts at 6pm(!!!) The location was good for me- not in the middle of all the tourists, but excellent transportation- the Picoas metro has an entrance right outside the front door! Parks, cafes, and a supermarket are all nearby. Lockers were nice and large, and rooms were spotless. Oh yes, no kitchen, but there are vending machines for snacks and coffee.You can smoke or enjoy your breakfast in the concrete back yard.Desk staff were friendly and helpful.So if you're looking for a place to party (or cook), this ain't it. If you just need a clean and roomy base, it's OK!

  Nice place in Lisbon

  The hostel is located next to metro station (on Sunday you have to walk up-street to different entrance) and buses, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The place is well-organized, there was no problem with me leaving before 6 a.m. (taxi panel works quite well). I was staying at 6. floor - when looking from the street you will never believe that there are so many floors.

  People on reception friendly, some lovely walks, views were great.Had our own bathroom which was good. Breakfast was fine.Building is 200 years old i think, it was an old fort so walls outside were really thick.Marina is only 2 years old which was infront. Good location for travelling onto other destinations for the day - 15 minutes walk to the train Oeiras and bus station

  Noisy budget accommodation

  Good location. Just near the metro station so we did not use our car to go to the center. Walls are very thin and you can hear elevator or people talking in other rooms, in the corridor. It was really noisy and we could not sleep during the night. Private rooms are very small. Bathroom amenities were all in inox steel, giving you a feel like you are on some boat or in jail.Breakfast was very poor. It was the same in the hostels we experienced in other cities in Portugal (one slice of cheese, salami, yogurt). Just a nice view from the bathroom to Sheraton hotel
