  Highly recommend. Great stopover. Staff very friendly and helpful. Buffet food available and convenient reliable airport drop off 5 euro.

  Bad experience at the Holiday inn express in Lisbon

  We have stayed at many hotels in many different countries. This holiday inn express in near Lisbon airport is generally awful. Specifically the dinner offering. For a senior couple of us trying to find parking in Lisbon is about a difficult as can get. The public parking are near the restaurants was closed. Back to the H.I. hotel for some hotel food. I would be sceptical of serving this to my worst enemy! There were four choices, all of them awful. B.T.W. The bed offered about 10% sleep time. Like sleeping on a bumpy sheet of plywood. Lots of explaining from the two people at the front desk, trying to justify their choice to serve up this Crap.   First Time at a Holiday Inn Express

  I usually stay at “better” hotels when traveling on business but I chose this hotel since it’s absolutely next door to my clients office. I’ve never had to walk to a meeting before so this was an excellent location, at least for me.My arrival was delayed by 24 hours but I informed the hotel. I walked in at late night, shivering uncontrollably since it’s a cold night for a Sri Lankan, there was a very friendly young man who greeted me at the reception, assigned me my room, all within a few minutes. Personally, that was very fast & efficient. I was told that there wasn’t any porters to take my luggage to my room but was directed to a cart where I loaded by luggage and box to take to my room.Being an express brand, there wasn’t any water in the room but I went down to get a bottle of water which is provided by the hotel FOC. I wasn’t sure if it was one per day but there wasn’t any reason to find out. The room and the hotel was old but there was no cause for complaint. Everything worked and the Wi-Fi was very good. In fact, they even had a English programming on the TV which I found to be lacking in my next hotel. The breakfast was good and filling. Again, not much to eat if you’re not a pork or beef eater but overall, I made do with what was there but the spread was reasonable. I think the breakfast menu doesn’t change but for a business visitor, I think this is totally fine.Given that I’ve stayed in Holiday Inn’s globally, this hotel came as a surprise but this was a business visit so this hotel was very nice and if you’re looking for a hotel for your business trip, I can recommend this place very highly.

  Stayed as close to airport for early morning flight.Staff friendly but hotel lacks many things. No amenities for early check outs (coffee / pastries etc). Rooms dated. Too far to walk to airport. Hotel offers airport transfers 5€ PP but can get an uber for 5€. Would not recommend.
