Location

This hotel is located in the centre of Lisbon and is just minutes from Amoreiras shopping centre. The nearest bus stop is only 200 m away and the underground station is less than 1 km from the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants within a stone's throw of the hotel; bars lie within 2.5 km, slightly further away, and the airport is only 5 km away.

Facility

8 junior suites, a suite, 29 single rooms and 131 double rooms are located on 10 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a car hire service, medical assistance, room service and a laundry service. A business centre with projector and photocopier is available.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and include a queen-sized bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a stereo system, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror, bathrobes and a telephone are provided. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The hotel has family rooms and 169 non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The sports and entertainment facilities at the hotel ensure that guests have plenty of activities to choose from during their stay. While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. Refreshing drinks are served at the poolside snack bar. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including tennis and a gym.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a café and a bar. Catering options include half board and full board. A generous breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner offer plenty of delicious variety. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. The hotel offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    The hotel is very outdated and the staffs a bit cold .     BED BUGS!!! Stay Away

    Went with my family of 3 to visit Portugal to have a once in a lifetime vacation and not only was it completely ruined, our night mare continued with us bringing the problem back to our home in Florida. I feel like I’m having a nervous breakdown!!! Our entire bodies are covered with bites. Our home is no longer a place of peace but of hellish makings now! Even our poor dog is dealing with this! Do not stay here! Reached out and still no response. Not the mention the expenses we now hv to incur to get rid of these these. I am losing my mind with these nasty begs This should not have happened.     Spacious rooms and great staff, but desperately needs a renovation

    Our stay at the Holiday Inn Lisbon was a mixed experience.On the positive side, the rooms are exceptionally large and spacious. The breakfast was good with a nice variety of food, and the hotel staff were consistently kind, professional, and helpful.However, the hotel has some significant drawbacks regarding its condition. Despite their size, the rooms felt neglected and dated. The sofa, armchairs, and chairs have definitely seen better days and look very worn out. The same applies to the bathroom – the towels were thin and frayed from overuse.The overall feeling is that the rooms are in urgent need of a renovation and refresh.     terrible cleaning conditions and dismissive hotel manager

    The hotel is in very poor hygiene conditions and the hotel staff and the general manager (Alice) were very dismissive and unprofessional. The room and bathroom were not properly cleaned: there were visible stains in the bathtub, dirty mould in the bathroom seams, and many dark splatter-like marks on the wall near the floor. What was most unacceptable was finding obvious human body hair stuck to the wall. On top of that, the bed linen felt very itchy, the bedding was not properly cleaned or contained irritants. After one horrible night, I requested a refund for the second night due to these issues, but the hotel refused. The attitude of the General Manager (Alice) and the reservations staff was also very rude and unprofessional, and dismissive towards the customers on reasonable requests. I decided to leave the hotel after one night without any compensation or refunding for the second night. 这家酒店的卫生状况非常糟糕,整体环境令人无法接受。同时,酒店员工以及总经理(Alice)的态度十分敷衍、冷漠且不专业。入住期间,我发现房间和浴室明显没有进行应有的清洁工作,包括:浴缸内有明显污渍、浴室接缝处存在发黑的霉菌、墙壁靠近地面的位置有许多深色的飞溅状污点。最令人难以接受的是,我竟然在墙壁上发现了明显的人体毛发,卫生状况极其令人震惊。除此之外,床上用品也让人非常不舒服,床单被套触感刺痒,怀疑寝具并未彻底清洗,或存在刺激性残留物,导致我整晚都无法安心休息。在经历了极其糟糕的一晚后,我因上述严重卫生问题要求退还第二晚的房费,但酒店方面拒绝退款。更令人失望的是,总经理 Alice 以及预订部门工作人员的态度非常粗鲁、不耐烦,对客人合理的诉求表现出明显的轻视和敷衍,完全缺乏基本的服务意识和职业素养。最终,我只能在入住一晚后提前离开酒店,但酒店既未提供任何补偿,也拒绝退还未入住的第二晚费用。总体而言,这次住宿体验非常差,不仅房间卫生条件严重不达标,酒店管理人员和工作人员的服务态度也极其不专业,令人非常失望。 IHG Service, Owner at Holiday Inn Lisbon By IHG, responded to this review Hi Qin M, I've read your review of your past stay.     Courteous and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Nice location. Rooms are good. I am a platinum member and no real benefits realized at this hotel .. however, the hotel itself is fairly good.
