  Excellent Stay in the Heart of Lisbon

  Hotel Borges Chiado was a wonderful place to stay during our visit to Lisbon. The location is unbeatable, right in the middle of everything, making it easy to walk to restaurants, shops, attractions, and public transportation.Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. One feature we especially appreciated was the soundproof windows, which blocked out the city noise and allowed us to enjoy a great night's sleep despite being in such a vibrant area.The customer service was top-notch from start to finish. The staff were friendly, professional, and accommodating. We arrived before our room was ready, and they were happy to store our luggage so we could start exploring the city right away without any inconvenience.Overall, Hotel Borges Chiado offers an excellent combination of location, comfort, cleanliness, and outstanding service. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon.

  Neat, quiet and clean! Super nice staff

  Very helpful staff, lovely location and everything you need close around for exploring the city. Very professional staff, coming up to the room with water (cheap!) extra pillows and duvets if needed. Taxis stops a few seconds from the entrance. Good size on the room for two people, and pretty large bathroom. Neat, quiet and clean. I'd expect more noise staying right in the middle of everything, but we could only hear the soothing rain on the roof at night. We didn't try the breakfast but there's heaps of cafes around. Unfortunately we forgot a suit in the hotel room, but the staff was super nice and helpful and kept the suit safe and sound until a friend could pick it up. 10/10

  Affordable, central location, helpful staff, gorgeous common areas and amazing breakfast!

  We only stayed here one night, but we had SUCH a positive experience! We booked the cheapest room, but upon arrival we were upgraded to Room 509, which felt like a penthouse--4 beds, a second-floor sitting room, amazing balcony overlooking downtown! Obviously my review might be a bit biased due to that awesome experience, but I still think our overall take is accurate. The staff was so helpful and easily available, the location is prime, super easy access to everything, the rooms are clean, though ours needed a little minor maintenance, like the stair rails to our little loft, which were a little wobbly, but those "downsides" are so minimal relative to the value (even if we hadn't been upgraded). The breakfast situation is AWESOME--not only are you in that gorgeous dining hall, but the selection of fresh pastries, juices, and all the breakfast staples, plus a superautomatic espresso machine (which was AWESOME) and alternative milk options (not part of the superautomatic, but you can make a regular espresso and add some oat milk or whatever). Our room was quiet, but I do see how it might be noisy if you had a room that was lower/closer to the street, and to be fair, we were there on a Monday night and not in the peak season. But we had a great experience and I would absolutely stay there again if I wanted to be in that area of Lisbon!

  The hotel is located in excellent location. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is an elevator, a rare find in portugal. Rooms are clean and there are fantastic common areas

  I’d read a lot of reviews about this hotel before arriving, and overall I found it clean, tidy, and comfortable. Our room was spacious with a walk‑in shower, and the hotel even provided two toothbrushes and two shavers, which was a nice touch. The TV was cleverly built into the mirror, although the remote needed to be pointed directly at it to work properly. The beds were clean and comfortable, and having a fridge in the room was really useful for keeping our drinks—and the milk—nice and cold. The only thing missing was a spoon for making hot drinks, but we just picked one up at breakfast. Breakfast each morning was good, with a standard but generous selection: cereals, hot and cold items, bread, cakes, fruit, plus two coffee machines, hot water dispensers, and fruit juices. The toaster was entertaining to use and produced great toast, though it could get a bit busy at peak times. The hotel’s location is excellent, with an underground line right outside and the famous Tram 28 close by. There are also two cafés just outside the hotel, which is really convenient and it's a.nice walk down to the waters edge
