Location

This centrally located, hotel lies only around 1 km from Rossio (one of the beautiful Lisbon squares). The nearest public transport links are within walking distance from the hotel and numerous shops as well as restaurants and bars are in the hotel's immediate vicinity. The nearest nightclub is 2.5 km away and the beach is located 25 km from the hotel. Lisbon airport is approximately 7 km away.

Facility

The hotel has 30 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. Additional amenities include a TV room and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). Further services and facilities include a car hire service, medical assistance, room service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. A bicycle hire service gives guests the opportunity to explore the surrounding area independently. Complimentary newspapers are available. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. A refrigerator and a tea/coffee station are standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a CD player, a DVD player, an alarm clock and WiFi are provided as well.     Our second stay in a Junior Suite . ...same professional staff some who have been there many years .Excellent hotel with superb breakfast .... Art Deco interior and comfortable well appointed bedrooms . Afternoon cakes and coffee served every afternoon in the salon with lovely sofas , books and a relaxing atmosphere .Bus and Metro nearby .just off LiberdaeCan highly recommend the Anti Dantas restaurant 3 minutes walk from the hotel .Superb fish and every thing else ..definitely not a tourist trap...average cost for 1 starter to share ...2 main courses ,2 glasses of wine, 1 water ..64 euros !!! Superb . Advise to book ...look for the door with the buttons !     We recently stayed at Hotel Britania in Lisbon and honestly could not have been happier with our experience. The hotel itself is extremely comfortable, beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and perfectly located within easy walking distance of the city’s shops, restaurants, bars, and major tourist attractions.However, what truly made our trip so memorable was the fabulous staff. Every single member of the team was exceptionally friendly, professional, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay.     Charming, comfortable and close to everything!

    This lovely charming hotel was perfect for us. Two friends traveling and staying in separate rooms, they were able to accommodate our request for adjoining rooms which was perfect. The staff were uniformly very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not modern but lovingly restored and maintained, and had all the amenities we needed to be comfortable. Our rooms were very clean and had character that you don’t get with many hotels. It was close to everything including a convenient Metro station, but just off the main avenue so it was completely quiet at night. I plan to come to Lisbon again and would stay in the same place.
