    Great hotel . Good location, Very well furnsished comfortable rooms with excellent shower and our room had balcony. Extremely clean, Friendly staff throughout. Excellent restaurant.

    Hotel Lis Baixa in central Lisbon is a very charming hotel, pretty and well maintained.Loved the location with tons of restaurants to eat nearby and major landmarks at walking distance or a short cab/tram/metro ride. Also loved the robes/slippers (provided only to direct reservations, as per the hotel's website), fridge/minibar with empty space, good wifi, tea keetle and coffee/tea, one large bottle of water per stay (though Lisbon tap water is potable), and pastries/water in the hotel lobby in the afternoons. Also loved looking out the window to see the beautiful architecture. Had dinner once at the hotel restaurant, which was good but expensive for Lisbon. My mom's birthday fell on one of the days during our stay and that day we arrived in the afternoon to find two pasteis de nata and a bottle of port wine plus a birthday note, which was a super nice surprise. Staff were really cordial.Didn't like the small room size, although the bathroom was relatively large in comparison but the shower/bathtub was a little unsafe as its floor was slippery without a non-slip mat and no safety bar to hold on to. Also didn't like the combo body/hair gel so ended up buying separate soap and shampoo/conditioner at a nearby store. No USB ports in the room but they can provide adapters, if available. No pool or gym.Hated the thin walls, which caused a lot of noise from adjacent rooms, especially from the cleaning crew.

    A Perfect Base in the Heart of Lisbon

    We stayed at the Hotel Lis Baixa at the end of April, and it turned out to be the perfect home base for exploring Lisbon. The location simply couldn’t be better — right in the middle of everything, with the trolley, metro, and multiple bus lines just steps away. We were able to get anywhere we wanted quickly and without hassle, which made our trip incredibly smooth.The breakfast was surprisingly good and very reasonably priced, offering a solid start to each day. But what really stood out was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They went above and beyond with recommendations, directions, and local tips, and their hospitality made a noticeable difference in our stay.Our room was wonderful — comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully set up. The balcony French doors were a highlight, letting in fresh air and keeping the room bright and airy. When we needed it, the AC worked perfectly, and the amenities were all high quality.If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-connected, and welcoming place to stay in the heart of Lisbon I’d absolutely recommend Hotel Lis Baixa. It’s the ideal “base of operations” for exploring the city while still having a relaxing retreat to come back to at the end of the day.

    Fabulous hotel in a great central location close to all the squares bars and restaurants . The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful . Hotel was very clean and well cared for . We ate in the restaurant and food and service very good . The only slight down side was the room was quite small but adequate for a short break . Overall very happy with our trip to this traditional and very nice hotel
