    We had a wonderful experience staying with PortoBay Marques. Our spacious room had a large balcony and small kitchen. This is a quiet hotel located on a quiet dead end street. Would higly recommend this property.

    Stayed for one night but had a lovely time! Staff couldn't have been more accommodating and were happy to add my friend to my booking last minute. The rooftop pool area was lovely to chill at and the bar service was a nice touch. Shout out to the lady on reception who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome!

    We've stayed at PortoBay hotels before in Madeira, and booked the Marques in Lisbon on the strength of this experience. We weren't disappointed, it was everything we expected with friendly staff, comfortable rooms and good facilities.In particular, the gluten free options for both breakfast and our evening meal were excellent with great support from the waiters.We were upgraded to a larger room and it was very spacious and comfortable with a view over the main street.We ate our evening meal at the hotel twice, there was a good variety of dishes and most were available as a gluten free alternative.     A fantastic city hotel on a very good location. 20 minutes from the airport and a very nice 10-15 minute walk to the centre. Very friendly staff, very nice breakfast.
