Systematic Failure of Brand Standards and Elite Recognition

As a Platinum Elite member, this was a complete failure of both IHG brand standards and loyalty recognition. I was flatly denied early check-in without the staff even checking availability. My status was never acknowledged, and the mandatory welcome amenity was never offered.The room itself was a major disappointment and a safety concern:Safety: No guest room phone was provided to contact the front desk or emergency services.Hygiene: The bathroom was missing a hand soap bottle and a trash bin. Only one full and one partial roll of toilet paper were provided for the entire stay.Privacy: No 'Do Not Disturb' sign was available for the door.Placement & Noise: My 'High Floor' request was ignored. I was placed on the 2nd floor at the extreme far end of the building, resulting in constant noise from people stomping on the floor above.To top it off, the IHG app failed during checkout, forcing a technical inconvenience on my way out. This property is not being maintained to IHG standards and does not value its elite members.

The Candles burned out at this motel several years ago!

A marginal $10.00 or rent by the hour room. Requested a king bed they didn’t have one it’s a good thing because the closet they had the gall to charge $150. For didn’t have room for a king bed. The room was filthy, mold every where. The sink in the bathroom wouldn’t drain. The desk was broken, no night stand on my side of the bed. The attitude of the staff reflected the condition of the motel. They had no breakfast which was probably just as well, Did I mention mold? It was prevalent! Did I mention Sink wouldn’t drain it was pretty ripe. Complained but nothing done. Needless to say Candlewood is permanently removed for my motel search.

Outstanding service! New management is making tons of changes and upgrades! Definitely my go to when in CC. Close to everything I need to get to without dealing with traffic. Clean and they now have fresh baked cookies!! My new perk when checking in.

I am disappointed and I’ve come to expect a standard of cleanliness and quality from IHG. This hotel is very sub par. This place has a musty smell and they pump so much cover scent to cover it up. A few of us that stayed there all were sneezing, coughing, and congested. I could not get a good nights sleep there because my allergies were getting the best of me.My shower was just barely Luke warm, the towels stank like the musty hotel, the tub had rust , the sink faucet had an issue, stains in the carpet , walls , and lamp shades. The toilet bowl looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while too. After I got out of the shower, I walked across the carpet and the bottoms of my feet were dirty already. The carpet is filthy and a bit sticky in my room. The staff was pleasant and friendly at the front desk. I saw that my bed would be made on some days, but old towels still on floor and no new towels to replace them . . I never considered using the pool or anything else based on the cleanliness level of my room. If you decide to stay here , don’t haul your luggage in there til you inspect the room first. I did not find any evidence of bed bugs, roaches or any other pests.

Literally, the worst experience ever. Generalmanager a total *****. Raymond Villarreal"Manager" had a tantrum over my truck parked(ON) in the front of the lobby while he checked us in. Very passive aggressive, racist, mother trucker son of a gun canceled my reservation on the spot after arguing for 20 mins back-and-forth over parking, rudeness and check in time.Usually, you park in the front, get down, check in, go park your vehicle, bring the luggage down. Or am I the only person that does that?Managers are there to solve problems, not make bigger issues is my understanding. Strongly recommend to do some extra management training and customer service extended classes.Mind you, we were traveling for a baseball tournament, the boys just need it to change to head out to the baseball park.I quote "I will not check in NO Family until that truck is moved. We were three families waiting on rooms (10 kids) in the lobby. Staff was not friendly like at all, building smelled like mold under construction and ten years of my grandma's smoking. Sofas and carpet stains were also nasty. Tubs were literally black, like if they had never, eveeeeerrrrrr been scrubbed clean before.Over price $175 plus taxes and $75.00 deposit.Oh, let's not forget that the website advertises One King size bed (it's actually a Queen size bed) the hotel does not offer any One King size bed rooms.The 2 queens beds rooms are actually 2 full size beds, again the front desk lady said the hotel does not have any double queen beds size rooms.Horrible experience!!!!
