  Nice Hotel

  We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Real Palacio. We stayed on the bottom floor which was great…..no elevators or stairs. Very nice people at the reception desk. The hotel was clean and in a convenient location. We’d stay there again.   Fantastic Base for Lisbon Sightseeing

  Stopped at the Real Palacio as part of an Easyjet holiday.The hotel is ideally situated within a 5 minute walk to the Sao Sebastiao Metro which goes straight to the Praca do Comercio where you can then catch a tram (E15) to the Belem district. You can also catch the red line from Sao Sebastiao straight to the airport. Taxi to the Matt Museum (Belem area) costs 15 Euro.There are also numerous cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets and a park within the immediate vicinity. Also check out the Banksy Museum, again a short 5 minute walk down the road.The hotel holds a five star due to is amenities including restaurant, sports bar, outdoor terrace, function rooms, gym/sauna, breakfast room, and parking.We did not use the hotels restaurant but we did have a breakfast at a cost of 15 Euros each that consisted of English/continental options with fruit juices and coffees/teas but was a bit crowded for our liking.Our room (522- standard) was spacious enough and clean with housekeeping changing the linen and towels everyday and facilities included hairdryer, safe, toiletries, minibar, desk and ample closet/draw space.The hotel was constantly key clean and smelt fresh as you came in through the main entrance.Staff were friendly, polite, and informative throughout our stay with excellent customer service.I would recommend the Hotel and would stay here again if I returned to Lisbon.   Beautiful hotel, take advantage of the half-bord.

  My wife and I stayed at the Real Palacio for 5 nights in April. Wonderful hotel, great service. Shick (nickname) went far beyond the norm to give us great service. We had the half-bord twice while we were there, the dinners were very upscale and very memorable for an extremely reasonable price. Great place to stay in Lisbon, very nice neighborhood to come back to after a day exploring.   I don't recommend the hotel Real Palacio

  Very tired hotel at the top of a large hill so taxi needed to get into town.We were 2 of only 6 in the dining room for dinner, which probably indicates the popularity of the food.Our 'superior room' balcony was overlooked by apartment blocks so no privacy.The room shown in the photo was not being used and is somewhat misleading.Staff and breakfast were good. We regret that it did not feel as convenient for the plans you had during this visit.   Lovely location, easy access to central Lisbon. Staff very helpful. Rooms we had were excellent, very spacious and clean. Bottled water provided. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and a wide window to eat.Dining was available, but we didn't use it. Lovely sports bar where food and drinks were available. We had to check out very early and requested a takeaway breakfast which again was good. If you are flying just check out your box as we had bottled juices and fortunately drank them before security!! We would certainly return to this lovely hotel.
