Location

    Average hotel charges to store bags

    Rooms were small but okay. The annoying part is that I showed up in the morning of my checkin day and was not allowed to leave my bags and instead had to pay to use their lockers downstairs and cram my stuff into a locker downstairs. Ive never had a hotel charge me to store bags prior to checkin. Booo!

    Hotel situated the quiet quarter in Lisbon, very close to the subway station, markets and restaurants.Helpfully reception staff, clean room and comfortable mattress in bed.We like this hotel and we will be back here. Sure!

    Staff generally friendly and helpful.Hotel spotlessBreakfast average - bread choice & quality average, pastries poor, pastéis de nata particularily poor qualityLuggage storage very poor - paid lockers in basement, keyboard similar to child's toy, no receipt, unless email typed in to machine (almost impossible with male fingers), nobody to assist, unfair price structure (€4 / 4 hours & €12 over 4 hours)Hotel location 20 minutes downhill walk to Marquis du Pombal & Avenue de Liberades (Uphill on way back). Location of hotel in good area, however

    Easy direct access to airport, via Metro Subway Red Line to and from the Saldalha underground station (5min walk). Nice safe hotel in the financial district. There is a huge Lidl supermarket across the street. Hotel has a good breakfast buffet from 7 to 11 daily, with ample choices, for a upcharge. Hotel has a bar and grill open for lunch and late dinners. I used Metro bus to and from downtown tourist areas. Saldalha roundabout with Neptune statue and shopping 3min walk. Rooms are small, but having a location with great Metro service is nice. Recommend
