    Not worth the stay

    rating02 Jun 2026

We stayed for a couple of nights here on our way to Algarve because on the website it said it was newly renovated. This will be our first and last stay as I found most of the staff at reception to be rude and unhelpful. Especially on the late evening we checked in. Since they said upgrade was not available I asked if we could get slippers and I was told the hotel don’t have slippers. Yet it was on their premium room description. So the next morning I ask someone else at the reception about slippers just to double check and they said it’s only available in their premium rooms. Exactly what I read online. So I asked again if I was able to get a pair and I was told no coz my room wasn’t a premium room. To think that they couldn’t give me the complimentary Platinum room upgrade, it wouldn’t kill them to give me 2 pairs of slippers! I guess this ‘Accor’ ibis don’t recognise Platinums.

    Great bar staff

    rating13 Apr 2026

The bar staff were fabulous and it was lovely to have such a nice chat with them all. Even if Häägen Dazs ice cream wasn’t available any more 😁 ibis nacoes, General Manager at ibis Lisboa Parque das Nacoes, responded to this review Dear Mermate1,Thank you very much for your wonderful review and perfect score. We are delighted to know that you had such a positive experience with our bar team and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and conversations with them.We also appreciate your comment regarding the Häagen-Dazs ice cream. While it is no longer available, we are glad that this did not affect your overall experience with us.We truly value your feedback and look forward to welcoming you back again soon at ibis Lisboa Parque das Nações.Kind regardsSylvie LopesGeneral Manager

    Utilitarian Dream

    rating02 Apr 2026

Is this a 5* hotel? Not on your life. Close enough to 3* by Euro standards, 2-2.5* by N. American standards, if you're looking for all the little touches that make a hotel stay special, keep looking. They're not here. But what they do, they do right. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The room was clean with ample towels and a decent size. The bed was firm and the water ran hot quickly. Despite being street-side, when we closed the window it was quiet. The breakfast was very simple and not especially healthy, but the coffee was good quality and the pancake maker was a nice twist.Whether you should stay here might boil down to location. It's one of the closest (the closest?) to MEO Arena and about 10 minutes from the airport. If you need a basic place to stay to get to either, give this place a look. ibis nacoes, General Manager at ibis Lisboa Parque das Nacoes, responded to this review Dear Shawnino,Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your stay with us.We are pleased to know that you appreciated the friendliness and professionalism of our team, as well as the cleanliness and comfort of your room. One night stay

    rating16 Mar 2026

I booked this hotel for one night only so that I can be close to the airport. As soon as I walked, I immediately got hit with a smell of what could only be described as eggs. Luckily, I was able to check in as soon as I got in, which was around 1 pm. I got to the room, and it smelled like bleach, which was a relief for me since I k ow that it was cleaned. The room was spacious enough for me, and it had all of the basics. There is a shower with shampoo/conditioner combo and shower gel. There is a closet with a safe, mini fridge and a TV with both local and international channels. If you're a vegetarian, you'll be fine. If you're vegan, you'll be stuff with the usual: bread, cereal, coffee, oatmeal, and non dairy options. No significant protien source. The area is not as lively as it is in the city center but the hotel is cheap and close to the Oriente station and the airport

Great Service under very difficult circumstances.

    rating24 Jun 2025

We were in Lisbon because we missed a connecting flight to Madrid and arrived after midnight, the staff were kind and helpful. The next day the massive power outage that affected, Spain, Portugal and parts of France ocurred. My husband really appreciated the management and staff of the Ibis Hotel in Lisbon for their great service and assistance during our stay from April 28 – 1 May, during this very challenging time for Lisbon. We were fortunate that the hotel had a generator, however, the staff had to accompany guests to their rooms to open them as the keycards were not working. Despite all the difficulties, the staff were extremely helpful and especially providing dinner on the night of April 29 with very limited food, we were offered a toasted sandwich when there were no food outlets open in the area.We were fortunate to stay at the IBIS with minimal disruption in light of the total blackout experienced in the city.To all at the IBIS thank you for making a difficult situation workable.
