    We stayed here for 1 night whilst walking the Camino. We were pleased to get a stamp for our passport here. The room was average, a bit dark and dated but clean and comfortable. The food was ok but for €16 each for an all you can eat evening meal it was good value. Breakfast was also ok.All the staff were very helpful and friendly.

    Stayed here for a total of 2 weeks for business. I stayed in two rooms on the ground floor, both being very similar in size and layout. The rooms are huge. Plenty of space in the main room as well as the bathroom. The beds are large and comfortable - reasonably firm. The pillows are very soft - I prefer that but some don't. The staff are all really nice, with varying degrees of English language knowledge. Communication was never an issue though. The hotel decor is okay - a little dated but given everything else (space, comfort, cleanliness etc), that's really not a problem. The 'gym' is a room with a treadmill (which didn't work), a bike and an elliptical trainer. Not much of a problem really. The town centre is roughly 1.2km away (a 15 minute stroll) and there's plenty of really nice places to eat (I recommend Il Forno and 150 Gama). There's a sports centre also within a 15 minute walk and this has a very good swimming pool. Overall, I'd recommend staying here. The only real downsides are: Some of the rooms face the back where there's a train track close by. Trains start at around 0600 and some are heavy goods so noisy. Some of the rooms face the main road. These aren't as noisy as the train side but if you get emergency vehicles passing they're loud. I stayed in both and preferred the road side. I understand there are others that face inwards. For the front facing room, I found I couldn't sit in the small balcony due to fumes from the next door petrol station wafting over. It's not a problem if you keep the doors shut though. The hotel is roughly 20 mins from Lisbon airport right next to the N1 so very convenient. The other downside is the food. To be honest, it's really not very good. I travel for business so can't be fussy but ended up eating in the Macdonald's (10 minutes walk) more than the hotel. I'd still stay here again if I were here on business though - not for pleasure.

    simple check-in,staff were friendly and helpful.my room (9)was quite large with high ceilings and two single beds,good storage,mini fridge and tea/coffee facilities,good size bathroom and add on a private balcony and i was very happy with my one nights stay.it's a good 20/30 minute walk to the centre of V.F.D.X. however a buffet dinner was offered and for the price,quality and choice i felt like i got a good bargain.

    The hotel was always clean and organized which I appreciated very much, it shows that the people who work there are professional and care. Everyone was always polite and courteous. The rooms were spacious and comfortable to sleep and spend quiet time in.

    It is the only option in the area. It keeps as it was 20 years ago. Good points is room is good enough. Breakfast is normal buffet but restaurant has few options for dinner. The fitness center, is only a couple of old machines for cardio exercices, that should not be called fitness center. Should be improved.
