    Perfectly fine

    rating14 Oct 2024

Must admit that we were concerned after seeing previous reviews, but there was no need. We are used to staying in European non-chain hotels (because were are European) and this was typical for us and for many non-chain hotels across Europe. Anyway, we were running a little late but just sent an email on the journey and all was well. Check-in was fine and we found the place easily enough. Parked in an underground car park 10 metres away. Our room was very clean with comfortable bed, TV, tea/coffee and a nice bathroom. Location was great although there was a bar full of young people right below our room and next to the entrance which may put people off, but they were just young people enjoying being young so who are we to complain. As it stood, after we came back from dinner, we didn't have any noise issues.Only noise issue we had was from some extremely loud guests with US accents who decided that if they were up before 5am to (assume) return for their flight, that everyone else had to be awake as well and proceeded to shout as loud as they could as they banged their cases everywhere. If that was you and you read this then please take a long, hard look at how you consider those around you.Would definitely come back here if having another overnight stay in Lisbon.

    ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR.

Very disappointed with this experience. This is not a reliable hotel chain, do not go here. I found out that my partner and I had been allocated a booking of a customer who was left stranded in a foreign country for being 20 mins late, and was accused of not informing the office people earlier about the delay WHEN SHE WAS ON A PLANE. The fact there was any demand for these rooms is nothing short of astonishing considering our stay was in a room with a putrid smell no one would do anything about. Ended up dreading each night in such a beautiful city because of how neglectful the staff were. Perfect waste of a holiday.

    Underwhelming

    rating16 Aug 2024

Underwhelming stay at this “guesthouse” in a dilapidated apartment building. Random street with quite a bit of construction going on, uninspiring exterior, smelly staircase and a very small elevator brings you to the rooms that are spread over 2 floors. The doors of the apartments and rooms are heavy and make a tremendous noise. The rooms are clean, functional and comfortable. However one of our rooms had a terrible sewage smell. There was a party on the floor below and we could hear music and shouting until late in the night. Finally no personal welcome on checkin. No guidance or advice on where to have breakfast. There must be better places to say !!

    Much better than expected

    rating28 Apr 2024

Lisbon Check-in made our life very easy: great location, good service, small but usable elevator, etc. When I called that my son (2 years) would also arrive, a baby cot was put into the room, no questions asked. Overall, I would recommend others to stay here. The rooms have a lot of character.

    A peaceful oasis

    rating01 Oct 2022

The exterior seems discouraging. The address plate hangs by a nail above the door, the street is noisy and not particularly scenic. Once I phone the manager and he gives us the code to enter, things start looking up. This is a very old building with a tiny rickety elevator but it works and gets us to our floor. The walls are thick and filter out the noise and high heat that is prevalent just outside the doors. Our room is at the back and ensured a quiet night. It was frosh week in Seville and students were outside partying till the wee hours. Residents at the front of the building complained of the noise but we slept like babies. The room was well appointed, with a very comfortable bed and good water pressure in the shower. There is a lounge and kitchen on the third floor, available for guests' use. We liked the location as well and could walk to all the sites we wanted to see. We were visiting at the end of our vacation and on our last night here, we needed to prepare for our flight home. We were extremely grateful to the manager who kindly printed up our boarding passes and our ArriveCan receipts, above and beyond the call of duty. All in all, we were charmed by our stay at this guesthouse.
