    Great apartment

    The apartment was clean with an equipped kitchen, good size bathroom and bedroom. Also had a sofa bed that made two separate single beds. The balcony was lovely with a great view of the castle and a tram. Easy check in machine and there are no keys, just codes for door access which I personally prefer. No risk of loosing them!

    Hotel/expedia hacked, lost reservation, bank card comprimised

    Planned to stay 2 bed apartment. Booking thru Expedia. Received email saying something was amiss with the payment while already in Europe. When trying correct the payment issue something did not look right. So I phoned the hotel. The hotel said I did not have a booking, however I could plainly see that I had a booking on Expedia. They said so sorry, too bad, cant help you, all sold out. I asked them about the email I had received, they said they/Expedia had been hacked and that was fraudulent. I phoned Expedia, they saw the booking still active on their end. However, the only suggestion that they had for me was to cancel the booking. So I did, and found another place for $1000 more (as that was all I could get at that late date). Neither the hotel or Expedia were particularly helpful. The kicker is that my bank card number is now compromised and some hacker bot is trying to sign into my bank account daily. The bank will not issued me a new card number! Both Expedia and the hotel we could not care less.

    Cannot recommend due to incorrectly charged cancellation feeI booked through a third-party site and cancelled within the free cancellation window. However, the hotel still charged me the full booking amount days after cancelling.I have tried contacting the hotel to resolve this unauthorized charge, but they have not responded to any calls or emails.While this has been extremely frustrating, I hope the hotel sees this review and finally reaches out to refund the charge. I understand mistakes happen, but completely ignoring a customer's requests for a refund is unacceptable.I would be willing to update my review if the hotel rectifies this situation promptly. However, until then, I cannot recommend booking with them when cancellations are not properly handled.

    You owe me £14.26 still for double charging me for a stay at the end of May 2022.Really dreadful automatic check in system that was infuriating to use firstly on my phone (I wasted about an hour at home and it didn’t work) and secondly on arrival at the property. But what was really annoying was that we were double charged on two separate credit cards. One was charged to the card we held the booking with via booking.con and the other with a credit card I wished to pay with. Thankfully we noticed the mistake. I called them but was told to email. The property charged us twice in €EUR, but as we are British this is converted to £GBP by the bank and with the daily exchange rate that fluctuates of course. The double charge was refunded to us but also in €EUR for the same amount. But the exchange rate saw a weakened £GBP over the week or two it took for the refund. All of my emails to them asked for my refund in £GBP so that I wouldn’t be out of pocket. This was ignored. It should have been sent to us in £GBP so that we got the exact amount it cost us back. This is possible and easy with any bank even though the property told us they wouldn’t do this. I have no idea why? They were just being awkward. Therefore the banking charges and exchange rate difference was for us to absorb and not them, this is absolutely unfair on us for their huge mistake. So the mistake of this property cost us personally £14.26. Or nearly €20. All because they double charged us. Booking.com customer service tried to resolve the issue but Lisbon Service Apartment refused to refund us this extra. I have given them time to respond and resolve but to no avail. I cannot recommend this company as they have left us out of pocket through absolutely no fault of our own. This is dreadful customer service. The apartment was fine. But being out of pocket has left a sour taste. They really don’t seem to care and don’t understand how to look after customers when things go wrong.

    Dirty and horrible service

    We came to an extremely dirty apartment. It was ridiculous. Contacted them straight of, she came soon after to clean - But not with vacuum cleaner to remove all the bread crumbs, rice and other food leftovers on the floor, but with a mop. Which made she was just swapping the dirt around. Instead of giving us an apology she said ‘Oh I know why it’s dirty. It’s because we just had a big crowd checking in, so they didn’t have time. They will do a proper cleaning tomorrow.’ That was it and she left as quickly as she came. Wtf? This meant we spend half our stay in a disgustingly dirty apartment. Not staying here again.
