    Well working in the hospitality industry I’ve have never experienced such a cold welcome. I entered the hotel and the young woman with her cold stare never greeted me by saying welcome to the Luzeiros hotel no hello no how are you . She bluntly said all I need is your passport. Not even how can I help you??? I arrived early and she never said you can sit at the cafe or sit in a more comfortable chair . She literally took my passport and said nothing . I was exhausted after such a long journey . So I saw a door that led to a cafe and sat waited for the room to be ready. When I finally got my room it was so warm but the hallway was so much cooler. I went to address it and the woman said it will take some time. So I stepped out for a while and when I returned in the evening it was still warm. I asked to change the room and she stated there were no more rooms. I spent 4 days in an uncomfortable hot room while smelling a strange odor that came from the bathroom. Stay clear away from this hotel it lacks customer service, hospitality and it’s old and needs maintenance…. Horrible

    Upon arrival at the property, we were greeted by one of the hotel's front desk attendants, whom we found quite cold- while you could chuck it up to nerves, there were other opportunities for better interaction but no change.The rooms are quite spacious and ours included a balcony, so our stay was promising, but it was not to be. On the 2nd night, we requested an iron and ironing board, which was provided, but then removed without our knowledge, which we discovered when needing to iron a garment. Communication goes a long way to ensure guests return and the lack of attentiveness was a running theme throughout our stay.Cleanliness was also an issue - towels were not replaced daily and we had to request new ones upon return to the hotel in the evening.Additionally, we found that the bathroom wasn't properly cleaned, along with the sheets not replaced, even with visibly stained pillow cases. I think the hotel is rather old due to the power going out during our stay. The hallway lighting is rather dark and leaves much to be desired, but to be clear, if there was better staff communication and housekeeping, the score would be higher. I raised my concerns during and also at the end of stay to the front desk. I hope they make the necessary corrections. Although the location of the hotel and room size are appealing, all factors must be considered to ensure the best stay for guests.

    Charged dubble - not giving refund...

    OK, the hotel gives you a roof over your head, it is old style but it has its charm. BUT the reason for close to zero value is that they charged us twice for Local Tax. First through Booking.com and again at check out. It has now passed two weeks since I asked for refund, receipts presented to them, but they are still stalling this. "We are working on it" - this is not acceptable. I am working on making a complaint through the Livro de Reclamações, Portugal. But they have not registered on the online LdR. So complaint will go through the general GOV-site. So if You chose to stay there, keep a hard grip on your wallet and dubble-check everything.

    Worst hotel in Lisbon

    This the absolute worst hotel I've stayed in Portugal. The bed was very comfortable. Otherwise the shower has no hot or cold only extremely hot or ice cold. If you manage to adjust it just right it wil give 5 seconds hot then 5 seconds cold. Also the breakfast is not very good has a small selection and it is not free. I had a free breakfast at every other hotel. The staff don't know the area at all. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

    A delightful hotel with a stella staff!Very well located with many eateries nearby, subway right out the door, an ideal cafe on the premises, who BTW, kinda get to know you if staying long enough so that's wonderful, room rates are acceptable with several options to pick from. The park across the street would be a true haven in Lisbon's warmer weather months. No downside to Luzeiros Hotel; it is not a 5 star facility nor does it make claims to be so if one is seeking a 5 star type hotel... well don't stay here and write negative comments because you're disappointed. I'd consider returning in a heartbeat after our 9 night stay!
