    GREAT LOCATION. Really great staff. You know youre in trouble when earplugs are provided next to bed. Unfortunately, there was nothing to mask the 3am -5am after-party that pulsed through my body every night (and im talking about sun, mon and tues night) we were there.

    The perfect “home base” in Lisbon!

    This was our first stay at this hotel, and it will not be our last. First, the location is perfect. It is close to both the Cais do Sodre and Baixa- Chiado neighborhoods. There are so many things to do in those neighborhoods and you are close to both the Metro and the bus. It makes it the perfect jumping off point for your stay in this amazing city. Many great restaurants offering different cuisines. You are next to the Tagus River which makes for a great place to go for a walk or a run. The hotel is quaint. The room was beautiful, clean and offered us everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back. Perfect spot. Ray Galvin & Janice Sharp

    I’ve read silly complaints about this hotel I am so happy I booked anyway. Beautiful and large room, big and very comfortable bed, shower and bathroom excellent. Coffee maker in room as well as nice blow dryer. Breakfast room is quaint and lovely with lots of choices including eggs. The ONLY downside is that the street outside noisy into the late hours. They provide foam earplugs in the room, 2 sets. Noise didn’t bother me. I would highly recommend LX Boutique!

    Staying at LX Boutique Hotel felt like discovering Lisbon from exactly the right vantage point—close enough to everything that matters, yet tucked just enough away to feel personal.The location is honestly the hotel’s superpower. Sitting right along the edge of Cais do Sodré, you’re within a few minutes’ walk of the riverfront, which becomes your natural starting point for morning strolls or late-night unwinding. Step outside and you’re immediately plugged into the city’s rhythm—trams rattling by, ferries crossing the Tagus, and a steady hum of cafés, bars, and restaurants that never quite sleep. It’s one of those rare spots where you don’t need to plan much—just walk, and Lisbon reveals itself.Within a short radius, you’ve got access to Time Out Market for food hopping, Pink Street for nightlife, and easy routes into Chiado and Bairro Alto if you’re in the mood to explore deeper. Even better, transport connections are right there—trains, metro, trams—so whether you’re heading to Belém for pastéis de nata or taking a day trip to Cascais, it all feels effortless.As for the room—I stayed in one of their themed rooms, (penthouse Suite - 511) and that’s where LX Boutique quietly stands out. The room comes complete with its own private terrace overlooking the River Tagus. It’s not generic hotel design; the room feels curated, with personality and a subtle nod to Lisbon’s culture. Mine had a cozy, almost boutique-apartment vibe—modern but warm, with thoughtful touches like quality linens, well-placed lighting, and windows that let in just enough of the city’s energy without overwhelming the space. After long days out, it felt like a proper retreat.One thing worth noting: because of the central location, you do hear a bit of the city at night—and that’s where this room stands out. It’s not facing the “iconic” Pink St but overlooking the River. However, the city noise is part of the experience rather than a drawback. You’re in Lisbon, not removed from it.Service was consistently solid—friendly, helpful, and never overbearing. The kind of team that gives you recommendations when you need them and space when you don’t.All in, LX Boutique Hotel strikes a balance that’s harder to find than it sounds: location without chaos, style without pretension, and comfort without losing character. If you want a stay that actually enhances how you experience Lisbon—not just a place to sleep—this is one of those spots you’ll think back on long after the trip is over.

    Super cute hotel. High quality touches ( eg shot of port and local pastries in afternoon) but situated in a very noisy area Drunk singing soccer hoodlums abound and their team songs will haunt your attempted dreams
