    I splurged and booked us in the Dressing Room, or what my husband called the Va Va Voom room. It had so much personality, just like the hotel! Fantastic location. We didn't understand at first what an easy walk down to Restadoures it was. We did walk up to the park, until we discovered the Metro. Then we zipped all over town when we weren't taking advantage of our multi-day HOHO (Hop On Hop Off) tickets. Erica and Joanna checked us in and gave us great restaurant recommendations. We took advantage of one right away for lunch because our room wasn't ready yet. Then we ate at another for lunch another day. Both were excellent. And they gave us a map and explained how to best get around, which is what gave us courage to try the Metro. So glad we did! Easy peasy!But the room was the best. Great size, quiet, comfy mattress, but the decor was the best. I loved the vanity table chair the best. A little tricky for bathroom space as far as counterspace, but we rolled with and figured it out. Mostly we just loved the vibe of this place. Even the elevator (once a fellow guest helped us figure it out) was a hoot. Like something out of James Bond!

    This hotel is centrally located near ave da Liberdade. The decor is fun, Cabaret-themed and very original. The reception staff is very attentive and kind, however the property and services need some improvement. Towels are worn out, inly two espresso pods provided, mirrors were not cleaned properly, and WIFi/TV//Cable signal stopped working for hours during our stay.

    We have just spent 4 nights at the Maxime and loved every minute of it. It's quirky, convenient, very clean , very quiet and the staff were fabulous.It's situated very conveniently within short walking distance of many attractions ans transport links. Our room was on the third floor, very spacious and so quiet although the area was humming! There is an alfresco courtyard on the first floor.My highlight was the breakfast each morning with a great selection of hot and cold foods!

    We had a wonderful stay at Maxim Hotel, a charming boutique hotel ideally located just a short walk from the centre of Lisbon. It’s a fantastic little find—perfect for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a warm, personal touch.What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, but a special mention must go to Marco and Giancarlo. Marco, in particular, was exceptional—when my husband lost his phone, he went above and beyond to help us. His kindness and dedication made a stressful situation so much easier, and we’re incredibly grateful.The rooms are clean, minimal, and thoughtfully designed—ideal for dropping your bags and heading out to explore the city. The breakfast each morning was excellent, offering a great variety of high-quality options to start the day right.All in all, this has been a brilliant stay, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. A truly lovely hotel with outstanding service.

    We stayed here for four nights and had a really good experience. The location is excellent - in a nice area with easy access to the main tourist spots, plus a metro station nearby which made getting around very convenient. There’s also a lovely little park just opposite, with a great spot to grab a drink in the sun. The rooms were clean, quiet and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The whole hotel had a really nice scent throughout, which added to the overall feel. Staff were consistently polite and friendly.Breakfast was fairly standard, but it definitely set us up for the day. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and we’d happily return.
