Location

This comfortable city hotel is centrally located in Bonfim Park, Setúbal. Lisbon, the cosmopolitan capital of Portugal, and its international airport are located around 30 minutes drive away. The hotel lounge that is located on the top floor offers fantastic views out over the Arrábida Mountains and the estuary of the River Sado. The immediate vicinity offers links to the public transport network. The centre of Lisbon is well worth a visit and offers a wide range of shopping facilities, numerous restaurants, a diverse range of bars, pubs, cafés and numerous other entertainment facilities.

Facility

The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services include a baggage storage service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Additional amenities include a TV room and a library.     First time in Portugal. We stayed one week in total. The room was modern, clean and had everything we needed. For Breakfast they had a lot to offer, especially pastries. All the staff reception, restaurant, morning and evening shifts were very friendly and helpful. Also the dinner was very delicious, tried out almost everything on the menu. The staff gave some good food and drink recommendations, especially one waiter his name I think João M. S. And in general a big thank you to the Melia Setúbal team that gave us a perfect first experience. Who’s looking forward to visit Portugal but don’t want to start in the big cities, Setúbal is a good place to start. Hoping to see you again.     Cleanliness, value, room standard and staff are great. In fact the best part about the hotel is the pleasant staff. It only drops the ball on breakfast, the food is consistently cold.     Good hotel close to the city centre

    Used this hotel as a base for a recent golf holiday. Whilst the hotel was business focussed rather than aimed at the holiday maker, it was perfectly functional with a range of facilities to provide an enjoyable stay.The hotel provides a self-service breakfast buffet, with a reasonable range of food and beverages available. Waiting on staff maintained the dining are very well. The hotel is opposite a pleasant green space and is a short walk from the heart of the old city area, with a wide range of shops and cafes. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the ferry across the river to Troia.     Friendly, comfortable hotel conveniently located

    Stayed for a week with friends visiting wineries in the area. Although the hotel was busy with coach parties for much of that time, the staff were cheerful and helpful. The bar/restaurant staff in the evening made sure we were well looked after and gave lots of advice on local wines and restaurants. We found the meals in the restaurant to be good value for money and delicious. There were a couple of minor housekeeping issues - but nothing which would spoil anyone's stay, and these were obviously because the housekeeping staff were very busy. The buffet breakfast was amazing and kept us going until late afternoon. Thank you for a lovely experience!
