  Spacious Rooms, Great Staff, and Perfect Location

  I stayed at the MS Aparthotel for 3 weeks and overall I would give it a 7/10. There were definitely some things I liked and some things I feel the hotel could improve on.Starting with the negatives: the furniture throughout the hotel feels old and outdated and honestly should have been replaced a long time ago. I also was not a fan of the mattress. It was very firm and uncomfortable for my liking, and I personally don’t like when hotels push two twin beds together to create a king bed because it just doesn’t feel the same as a real king-size mattress.Another major issue during my stay was the elevator situation. Only 1 elevator was working the entire 3 weeks I was there, which was frustrating and honestly unacceptable for a hotel this size. During peak hours it could take a very long time for the elevator to arrive, and many times it was already full, forcing me to take the stairs.Now for the positives —The staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone from the front desk staff to housekeeping and the restaurant employees were friendly, professional, and always quick to help with anything I needed.The rooms are HUGE. My room was larger than my one-bedroom apartment back home in the United States. I loved having a full kitchen with an oven, microwave, full refrigerator/freezer, and all the cookware, dishes, pots, and pans needed for longer stays.The hotel amenities were also excellent. The gym was fully equipped with free weights and a large selection of cardio equipment. There are also two large swimming pools and a very good on-site restaurant with quality food.Breakfast every morning was another highlight. They offered fresh squeezed orange juice, an omelet station, fresh fruit, coffee, and a solid breakfast selection overall.The location was also perfect for me. The hotel is approximately 20 minutes from Lisbon, 30 minutes from Sintra, 20 minutes from Cascais, and only about 10 minutes from the beach. Free parking was a huge bonus as well, especially considering many hotels in Lisbon charge expensive nightly parking fees.Overall, I think this hotel is ideal for long stays, families, or travelers who want to stay outside the crowded and congested areas of Lisbon while still being close enough to easily visit the city and surrounding areas.While there are definitely areas the hotel could improve, I still had a very enjoyable stay overall.

  Absolutely loved it!

  We stayed here for a week in a studio apartment. It was absolutely immaculate, very spacious. Loved that it had its own well equipped kitchen with a washing machine which came in handy throughout the week we stayed. The only thing it could have done with is a washing up bowl and oven gloves and an airer for the washing but we asked for reception for and it was delivered to our room within 5 minutes.Beds were very comfortable, we had room 301 and it was also very quiet during the night. Despite it not being in the centre of Lisbon it was only a 10-15 ride into the city by an uber which were always available when needed. There’s a Lidl supermarket which is about a 10 minute walk (up hill coming back) but it was a nice walk to take. Sintra and Cascais are definitely worth a visit and again only a 20-25 minute ride in an uber.The gym facilities were brilliant, a very well equipped gym. Didn’t use the pools as we had a jammed packed week. We visited the restaurant the first night and all the staff there were friendly and the food was good.Rooms can be cleaned for you everyday if needed but we only had ours done 3x during our stay there and each time the room was absolutely spotless, the cleaners definitely deserve some recognition for their hard work.During our check in I felt maybe a welcome booklet could have been available for opening times of the gym etc and explaining you needed a separate card to access the gym. And restaurant opening times etc. There was an online manual available for the washing machine but this didn’t work so I did have to google how to they the washing machine on right setting.We absolutely loved our stay here and I wished we could had stayed longer. Perfect location and perfect apartment for us. We hope to be back again one day :)

  Ok but a business center would be helpful.

  This hotel is a bit dated but was clean and comfortable. Our room was large, with comfortable beds, a couple of sofa chairs, a dining table for 2 and a kitchen with a cooktop, oven, microwave, full-sized fridge, and clothes washer. A clothes drying rack was provided on request. The kitchen also included basic dishes, cups, glasses, pots, pans and cutlery. A good-sized indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and gym are available for use. The hotel also appears to have several meeting rooms and a small auditorium suitable for conventions. One amenity that we feel is lacking is a computer and printer for guests to use. This became a major issue when one of us discovered their passport was missing and likely stolen. Although the front desk offered to print the emergency replacement passport forms if we emailed them, they did nothave a computer available for our use and we were unable to properly format the forms on our mobile phones. When we inquired about a library or internet cafe nearby that might have the necessary equipment, the front desk staff were very unhelpful and recommended another hotel, which was quite a distance away. It wasn’t until we expressed our disbelief that there wasn’t a computer available for us to use in this situation, and asked to speak to the manager that they finally offered to help us complete the forms on their own computers. The process of obtaining an emergency replacement passport after having it stolen while in a foreign country is complicated, time-consuming and incredibly stressful. Although we were very grateful to finally get the forms printed, we were frustrated and distressed at the apparent lack of sympathy and unhelpful information initially provided by the front desk personal. Our 3 night stay was pleasant enough but our experience was tainted by the lack of basic amenities present in most hotels and the reluctance of staff to assist us in our time of need.   get better furniture

  Had a two-bedroom suite which was nice view.The bedding/mattress was okay but the furniture otherwise was atrocious - really old and banged up. The couch cushion had completely lost its give and was painful to sit on more than an hour. The dining table was tiny (a 3 seater) in a 2-bed apt and one chair was so old it fell apart. And what's with no dishwasher but I have clothes washer? makes little sense.   We stayed at MS Aparthotel for 5 days and were very impressed with the spaciousness of the apartments. While some of the furniture shows a bit of wear, the cleanliness more than makes up for it and ensures a very comfortable stay.We booked a large number of rooms for our wedding guests, and everyone was delighted with the upgrades they received. The extra space made getting ready for the big day a breeze, and it was clear our guests appreciated the thoughtful touches.The grounds are beautifully maintained, providing a lovely backdrop for our outdoor wedding events. We were fortunate to have perfect weather, which made the experience even more memorable.The staff were exceptionally friendly, especially the reception team, who went out of their way to meet our needs. A special thank you to Rafaella and her team for organising our pre-wedding celebration and lunch, which was enjoyed by everyone.Overall, our 5-day stay at MS Aparthotel was a fantastic choice for our celebration.
