  We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was perfect for our trip. Everything we needed was close by and it was easy to find our way around. The hop on bus was a short walk away and the trolly was 2 blocks away. Our room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. We were within walking distance to most things that we wanted to see.Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable.We highly recommend this hotel.   only book here if you enjoy staying in an oven

  checked in and the hallways were like a sauna and got to me room it was like an oven. Called down to complain they said yes we know we keep the air conditioning off to save power the room will cool down quickly. it did not cool down quickly. Sweat literally dripping off me waiting for the inferno to cool. Do not recommend there are much better properties in Lisbon.   BEWARE of the cancellation policy and refund process

  We had booked this hotel with a flexible cancellation rate. We had to cancel and then they couldn't refund our credit card back and had to do an international wire transfer because they had a system change. The system change shouldnt be our problem. I ended up losing money over this transaction with the wire fee and exchange fees. Very disappointing. BEWARE if you book, make sure you dont change your plans because it will cost you.   We stayed here, based on a recommendation in a Rick Steves guidebook. It worked out very well. Although our room was small, it was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was fantastic and the breakfast was great (featuring glorious Portuguese pastries. ) The staff was very good, and they provided really solid restaurant recommendations..
