This stylish hotel is situated on Avenida da Liberdade, around 5 minutes walk from the Praça do Rossio. The historical city centre and the shopping and banking district lie within a short distance from the hotel and links to the public transport network are located directly in front of the hotel. 83 rooms, including 23 suites and 58 double rooms, are located on 11 storeys and can be reached by lift.     Fun hotel if the roof is open & you get a room without ants

    I was excited for this hotel because of the rooftop pool and bar but it rained in the morning and would stay closed through the night because of the 'weather' which was unfortunate. Our room also had tiny ants throughout our whole stay. We called the desk and someone brought 'bug spray' up which we asked to keep in the room since one spray wasn't going to do it. One of bar tenders was the best! We sat at the bar one night when the rooftop was closed and asked for recs to do since it felt like we did everything already and he wrote a really long detailed list of things for us to do. Overall the place was okay.     Excellent location and wonderful staff. We had an issue with the shower and smell that didn't let us sleep for 2 nights. The staff suggested to move us to another room, but it was our last night so we didn't and they took care of the smell for the very last night.     This was one of those places where you didn’t need to look at the bill to determine whether you received value for money. It was an obvious deal. From the crisp cotton sheets to soft complimentary slippers, many other small details abound. Upgraded balcony rooms afford decent views and room to stretch out. Breakfast buffet is thorough, and if snacks are needed an Aldi is a floor below the lobby. Located a few metres from a Gucci outlet to provide insight to the neighborhood, the place gives off a feeling of affluence from the moment you step in the quaint lobby. Only quibble was an onerous process in receiving a bill, starting with a message after I’d checked out saying they couldn’t honor the upgrade request I negotiated at the front desk upon arrival. Whoever said all European hotels have to be small and ancient should check this place out.
