This popular city hotel lies just 3 km from the city centre, close to the zoo and the famous Gulbenkian Foundation. Facility

249 rooms, including suites and 248 double rooms, are located on 10 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities.     Bad hotel experience. They have currently got renovations going on. Understand hotel nee that but no notice given on booking or before arrival.(booked via the accor group) Room is to be fair decent but shower leaks water onto floor as the sealant around the shower is not done well and some parts have sealant missing this will be a problem for the hotel in the future.so we had to use a towel to wipe the floor. When wanting to refresh the towels we placed the towels on floor as requested in order to get fresh towels but housekeeping just hung the wet towels back on the towel rack instead of replacing then . Ok just requested more that night from front desk and they were sent to the room. . A free bottle of Water was provided for only the 1st night, we were staying multiple nights. I asked at reception after no bottled water was provided the second day and told it was only for the 1st night , they said I had to purchase water, but only noticed on checking out there was a water dispenser opposite reception. Why did they not mention this when i asked about water is beyond me.. Another evening on return to hotel we had no toilet paper left by housekeeping and no coffee. Again had to request. Got 1 toilet roll and 2 coffee sachets. I normally always leave a tip for housekeeping but this time the service was so bad I did not. Gym not open due to renovation. Pool was open but no bath robes or slippers are provided in room so need to dress to go to pool.this is just to let you know best to bring some sandals with you . There were a few other issues but I dont want to make this a long review but I would not rate this a 4 star hotel. hopefully when the renovation is finished they can retrain their staff and provide a better service.

    I had a very pleasant stay at Novotel Lisboa. Everything was clean, well maintained, and very comfortable throughout our visit.The location is convenient, with easy access to public transport—about 10 minutes by metro or just 3 minutes by bus, making it simple to get around the city.The staff were extremely kind, friendly, and always ready to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable.It’s a perfect choice for families who appreciate peace and quiet. Overall, it was a perfect stay and I would gladly return!

    Currently having renovations done which means reception has moved, the gym is out of use and areas are under construction. There was no warning about this prior to arriving. The room is clean and modern but considering we booked for 3 people they didnt give us enough pillows. We had to turn the fridge on ourselves (which it doesnt tell you), the room amenities (tea and coffee) is lacking and not always topped up, and theres no welcome pack/information such as reception phone number. Location is good, easy to walk to places and the sightseeing bus has a stop on the same road. Didnt use the pool but it does look tired. Its not a horrible hotel at all, but I wouldn't stay again.

    Had a really lovely stay at Novotel Lisboa. The team were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout, which made a big difference. Even with the refurbishment ongoing, everything was handled really well; reception and the bar have been moved downstairs and it all runs smoothly.The bedrooms were great, and the bathroom was a real highlight, modern, clean, and very well done. Also appreciated that they kept Super Bock on draft, a nice touch! Would happily stay again.

    Stayed here for the second time and it’s in the process of refurbishing some areas. Please don’t let that put you off. Staff were superb in handling the situation. Food and service very good. It’s located is close to the Metro station which makes moving up and down to the major tourist locations easy. Taxis and Ubers are available but they can easily get stuck in traffic. Using Metro is easy recommend buying a 24hour pass from the station machines. Debit and credit cards accepted and there is an English translation button. Will return again
