  We stayed in this accommodation (Apartment Fadista) for a week and really enjoyed it. It’s truly top-class and has everything you could possibly need. Rui Pedro’s hospitality was warm and welcoming, and we were treated to a range of lovely treats (from wine and biscuits to Anastasia’s homemade cake). Thank you for everything! Whether one should go on holiday to a city plagued by overtourism – where there is justified resistance to this from the long-established, mostly poorer residents, particularly in the Alfama, Mouraria and Graça districts – remains an open questionUnbiased on this point I can really highly recommend this accommodation.

  Delightful neighbourhood apartments

  A delightful neighbourhood group of apartments managed by Rui pedro . The area is hectic with tourists and locals with lots of restaurants and destinations nearby. The apartments are scrupulously clean and extremely well kitted out with all kitchen and laundry requirements. All hiccups were quickly addressed by Pedro who was easy to contact by WhatsApp throughout our stay.

  Great place, the communication with the concierge was really good and easy and we got some great tips from him about the city. There is a great coffee place right next door and some great restaurants in the area too. We stayed in a studio and looked exactly like the pictures, the bed was super comfortable and there was kettle, fridge, water in the kitchenette.

  Great stay in Alfama, Lisbon

  My wife and I have just returned from a short break in Lisbon. Whilst we were there we stayed at the On/Set Cinema Apartments in Alfama, Lisbon. Alfama is quite hilly so be prepared for lots of climbing when exploring the area. We had the ground floor apartment which is very comfortable and was absolutely spotless. The apartment was cleaned every day of our stay and on the one day of rain we had whilst we were there, we were left an umbrella which proved to very useful. The apartments are located on Calçadinha do Tijolo which is pedestrian only, and just down from Escolas Gerais with a Tram 28 stop at the intersection. Just a short distance away is a Copenhagen Coffee Lab which is great for light lunches and pastries as well as their coffee. There are dozens of small restaurants and bars near the apartments many of which are very reasonably priced. We also visited Parreirinha de Alfama which is a short walk away for dinner and to listen to Fado singing which I would recommend also. All in all it was a great stay at the apartments which I would recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon.

  You could not get better service from the concierge service in Lisbon.Pedro was the most helpful person we have met on our journey.The property was so well appointed including clothes washing facilities.You could cook if you wished however we took Pedro’s advice on a local restaurant and went there twice.We had a great experience.
