    Staying here was a terrible, below standard experience. This hotel does not deserve to be a 2-3 star, below 0 would suffice for the type of service here. Absolutely no comfort whatsoever, the bed frame was old and the paint was disintegrating off it, the toilet barely worked, no phone in the room in case of any inquires or emergencies, the food tasted like it wasnt fresh, etc. Additionally, the receptionist was very unprofessional and rude. I unfortunately fell ill and was constantly sick and so my wife went to ask the receptionist about any nearby hospitals. He was very uncaring and unsympathetic which I was stunned by. Do NOT be fooled by the cheap price. It is not worth it.

    I was given a room on the 3rd floor so when the only lift broke down on the Sunday (it remained so for the rest of my stay, another 5 days!) it posed a serious and painful problem for me. I am a retired person and have injuries to my knees. At no point was it suggested that I move to a room on a lower floor. I booked this hotel primarily because of its location and the fact that it had a lift. Having to plan the rest of my visit around restricting access to my room because of the stairs was annoying and very inconvenient. I wanted to register a complaint but there is only a web form that I've tried twice and to which they have not responded after one month. A company that does not respond to contacts is completely unreliable.

    The hotel management was very bad, they did not return our deposit for no reason and towards the end of the experience they casually blamed us for scratching the lift when the damage had already been done before we arrived and we even had photos to prove it.They apologised for the fact of the lift but asked us anyway for 33 euros because they said that during one or more nights we have a bit of chaos, we obviously objected and they had the brilliant idea to demagnetise all the cards and make us stay outside the hotel saying that if we had not paid they would have kicked us out of the hotel, we also met the Italian embassy and they too told us not to pay for any reason.Now I don't know if payment is pending or not, but we pupils didn't pay precisely because we didn't do any damage or anything like that.As for the quality of the rooms what can I say, the pillows were very uncomfortable, the towels were always dirty every time they gave them to us and some rooms were full of mould when we arrived, as for the food and breakfast, there weren't even croissants and the food was nothing much, for a long time they left everything empty unless someone went to ask to add the food which then people had to take for breakfast.DISASTROUS, GRADE 0

    Does not accept credit cards. Tiny, cramped, cell-like room in desperate need of renovation. If it's hot outside, you will swelter. Shower extremely cramped. Included breakfast which I did not partake of. Tiny, ancient elevator. Only thing in its favor is its location close to a Metro station. Don't be tempted by the low price--avoid...

    Very easy access for a night over Lisbon. The room with all basic amenities in working order. The mattress was not as comfortable as it could be, and no toilet roll. The shower was nice and warm with good power. Had to wait at the reception to check in as no one was there. Tried the phone number, but rang at the reception where I was, though the check in was fast and efficient and the lift took me to the 3rd floor promptly.
