    Very basic - April 2017

    rating25 Sept 2018

We stayed here for 2 nights in April 2017We booked it because of some deal, and it was pretty inexpensive. They offer breakfast which was good thing in that price, location was pretty decent. Our airline had missed our luggage, so we gave the address of the hotel. The staff was kind enough they collected it on our behalf while we were away.It was pretty old building and the rooms were also looking as if they need renovation. There was some issue with the shower, if you use it directly without waiting 2-3 minutes for the water to flow, you would encounter extreme temperature. Not sure if this was specific to this hotel, or is a in general thing, but I did not experience such thing at other places

    Consider twice

One of the worst places I've ever lived. And this is unfortunate because receptionist guy was very welcomed and service is generally normal except broken furniture in our number, bad smell and dirty sheets... Cannot recommend this place, better use airb'n'b

    Tatty but does the basics

    rating03 Dec 2017

It was clean, the staff friendly, the breakfast limited in choice but fresh and good enough. The location is quite central.But......The bedroom was depressing. Broken worn out furniture. Window blind jammed. Exposed wiring in the otherwise good bathroom. No spare power socket. Old wall mounting for a tv just left sticking out next to a socket that didn't work. The heating struggled to work, but was fine after I cleaned the clogged air filter! The simple breakfast was fresh and quite good, but the breakfast room was uncomfortably cold. At least one of the staff refreshing food and clearing tables was wearing a thick overcoat! It is low cost, but I still struggle to recommend it and would suggest only using as a last resort.

    Dont do it

If you are planning to stay in Lisbon, don't choose this ''Hotel?'' There are other ways to cut down costs of your travel, but risking your wellness is not one of them.Very old building, small rooms...renovation will do nothing to this place. It needs to be put down and rebuild from scratch. We tried connect to the internet, but no. It kept disconnecting, leaving all my work and had to rejoin again. Never managed to keep connected for more than 30 secs. The staff is doing all they can, but it is not enough. I guess you get what you pay for at the end.

Good location and very nice room

    rating03 Aug 2017

The room was big and there was also a balcony. The bathroom was not great but decent, however the locker was broken. The staff was nice (especially the short man) apart from a woman who dealt with the breakfast, who was quite rude to me: I dropped some milk while I was pouring it, I was getting a tissue to clean it and she told me very unpolitely to leave it.Then I was in the toilet of the breakfast room, she knocked the door very strongly and my friends told me that she was complaining outside because I didn't response after her first attempt (in my opinion if the door was locked it means that someone was in there, no need to complain about it). The lady we found the day after was very polite and helpful. The breakfast was not that big (no pastries, just bread, nutella, marmelade, butter, corn flakes, milk, coffee, orange juice, ham and cheese), however it was enough for the price of the room.
