This elegant hotel is centrally located close to Rosso Square, one of the most beautiful squares in Lisbon. Links to the public transport network are to be found 100 metres away and in the vicinity are shops and restaurants. Bars/pubs are within 1.5 km of the hotel whilst the nearest nightclubs are roughly 2 km away. Lisbon Airport is 7 km from the hotel and it is about 25 km to the nearest beach.

Facility

The hotel has 9 suites, 8 single rooms and 59 double rooms, which are located on 11 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Super hotel and staff.Perfect view from balcony of Lisbon.All staff friendly ,helpful and professional.Recption staff looked after our bags before we checked in.Pombal about 15 mins walk a centre for banks, restaurants,cafes. Great hotel and customer service

We have stayed at Sana Rex with our whole family for a week . The hotel staff and customer service is very accomodating . The breakfast is unreal and the location is perfect . I would like to thank specially Ricardo and Andre for their excellent support and customer service helping our family. Thanks again to everyone at Sana Rex . I definitely recommend this hotel if you are going with your family . Also note this hotel does have 2 elevators which does help with luggage as most of the hotels here have stairs . Very good place to stay

Great place to stay.Rooms are small but bigger than expected and we had a balcony which had great views.The bathroom is small but no problem.The breakfast was good. The staff were all very nice and helpful. A couple of nice restaurants and cafes nearby. Nice quiet area. Get a room with view of the park

The room is not big enough for the bed, and the bathroom is not big enough for the bathtub, bidé, basin and toilet.Apart from that - a nice place :)The room has a coffee machine for pods, did not try it. Bottled water is offered free of charge.If I were to stay again I would for sure pay the extra cost for a room with a view of the park.The location is a bit cumbersome, the SANA Rex is up a BIG hill, but looking at the layout of Lisboa there are some stops for some buses and also metro that gets you closer to the same altitude and then you can stroll across the park or a block behind the hotel and avoid the hilly side.Breakfast was really nice. I especially enjoyed the staff. One was super grumpy, the other two did nothing visible during any of my breakfasts. The only one working was a woman. But the food/drinks were plentiful and of good quality so I was both amused and full when breakfast was over. Basic but efficient and good value

This a basic hotel - no frills. We got a balcony room and, given the tiny size of the actual room, it was nice to have the extra space. It was not possible to sit normally on the toilet, only sideways - we saw the funny side of this, however. The view on Lisbon across the park was lovely, and we did not have any problems with noise, from airplanes, traffic or people. The breakfast downstairs was ok - I always judge by the quality of the bread, and the bread could be better - and it's a 10 mins walk from the metro. If you're spending a lot of time in the old quarters, as we did, it's a bit of a trek in/out each time but we found the metro and Ubers very efficient and we appreciated being in a quieter part of town. You can walk to the Gulbenkian. It would be lovely if they staff had been friendlier and more welcoming. I suppose they must be very overwhelmed by the number of tourists in Lisbon.
