Location

This hotel is located in the tourist centre with the beach located just 500 m away. Shops, bars and restaurants are to be found in the vicinity as well as links to the public transport network and the airport is 40 km away.

The hotel has 3 suites, 14 single rooms and 83 double rooms, which are located on 8 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a TV room.     Having been several times with golf friends a few years ago it was a good opportunity to return with my wife, daughter and husband and 17 yr old granddaughter. We were not disappointed, an ideally situated hotel in a lovey old fishing town.I have sent feedback to the hotel through their survey giving excellence in virtually all aspects. Lovely room overlooking the beach and sea, good facilities with a splendid roof top swimming pool, a small gym and a sauna. Helpful staff in all areas, with a very good breakfast buffet and bar. Yes 5 stars to most questions but no facility in their survey to give constructive suggestions. Whilst not particularly detracting from the 5 star responses here are a few constructive comments to consider.The carpet in the room was ready for a clean, some tissues and body lotion would complete the bathroom. Tea and coffee making in the room would benefit from a teaspoon and milk! Whilst we saw the manager in the distance he never made effort to ‘engage’. A big plus, daily water replaced in the room. Having (laboriously) done on line check in only one half had been received - but that could be due to the octogenarian filling it in!Altogether an excellent few days stay.     Great location right on beach and staff is super friendly and very helpful. Rooms and furniture are well used and in need of replacement, however, all is very clean.     The location of this hotel cannot be beaten. It’s right in the sea front with a beautiful unspoiled beach in front- no sun loungers , no beach bars just beautiful sand and sea( which is quite cold but worth a swim) .The hotel is also beside numerous cafes restaurants and shops. There are a few bars - visit Igloo if you like a lively bar. The hotel is not luxurious but the staff, the service and the location more than make up for that.
