    Decent place for an overnighter

    It was close to the airport which is why we chose it. Overall it was quite decent. Offered a very good and comprehensive breakfast buffet. The room was on the smallish side but comfortable. The bathroom set up was very weird! The toilet and the shower opened out directly into the room with glass doors…..a curtain pulled across was the only divider from the bathroom and bed. Weird.     Good Location for Airport, Room Is Basic

    The primary attraction of this hotel is proximity to the airport. It is close enough to walk to the terminal, albeit you need to cross busy highway. Surprisingly, despite being so close, I heard very few planes.The accommodations are very basic with few amenities, the room was small but the bed was comfortable.Although the room was generally clean, there was visible mold in the corners of the shower. It looked like it had been growing there for a while. Both the room and hallways had an extremely heavy scent of deodorizer, like that of the car deodorizer hung from a rear view mirror. It was overwhelming. Also the closet had a musty smell that would prevent anyone from using it.The breakfast buffet offered many options, but many of the boiled eggs were either cracked or chipped. Surprised they would serve them. The adjacent sister hotel (can't remember the name) was much nicer, wished we had stayed there, it was more modern, no deodorizer smell, and cleaner and brighter. We had dinner and drinks in their dining room. Cost for the hotel room was about $270 which was overpriced for the size and condition of the room.     Highly recommend for an overnight

    This hotel was great for an overnight stay before our early flight. The hotel was very clean, staff was friendly and check in was super easy. Rooms were clean and spacious for our needs and we were given complimentary water and cookies. My only setback was the bathroom is not very private. It’s not a room it’s just 2 glass doors, 1 for the shower and 1 for the bathroom. There is a curtain for more privacy but that’s about it. But, for a single night it was fine. The breakfast buffet was the biggest I’ve seen at a hotel like this and it was fresh and perfect for our early morning. We took the free airport shuttle at 6 AM and it was super quick and easy. I would stay here again!     New hotel located close to the airport

    We stayed here for one night. We had a very early morning flight and needed a place close to the airport. This is a newer hotel. There was a welcome gift of cookies and two small bottles of port. Sound was generally good. We didn’t hear any airplanes but did hear doors banging and people walking above us. The beds are rock hard. The bathroom is a strange set up - it’s incorporated into the room. A thick curtain can be pulled across spearing the beds from the toilet and shower but it still feels like privacy really isn’t there. We had such an early flight that we weren’t able to enjoy the breakfast (that begins at 2:00am!) but had to grab and go. It actually looked like an amazing breakfast with many hot and cold selections. I’m sorry we couldn’t sit down for it. Overall it was good for the night.     I flew into Lisbon and stayed at the Star Inn for one evening before venturing on for a 2 week trip exploring Portugal. It was a great way to get rested up after a full day of traveling from the western United States. Very clean and comfortable room. Fabulous staff!
