  Very comfortable albeit a distance out of the town centre, but accessible via Metro

  Although the location was away from the town centre, the hotel was a pleasant surprise. There were corner food stores around and the metro station was a short walk away to get you into the city centre. The room i had was very spacious, light and bright and had a balcony. The room was very clean and the climate control worked very well. The bed was comfortable and the linen was very clean and in excellent condition.The bathroom was very well appointed and the water pressure was great. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast fulsome.

  Horrible check in experience and unclean rooms

  Arrived at the hotel at 22:40. They had overbooked even though they had confirmed my reservation the day before. They would not answer any questions just kept asking to wait. After 30 minutes, they announced that they will let me check in! But I need to wait more. After an hour, they gave me a room. The room was not properly (if any) cleaned - there was hair in the bathroom, in the bed underneath the sheets. The staff did nothing except repeating sorry. Wherever you choose to stay, do not ruin your time at Lisbon and avoid this place at all costs. It is way overpriced for the quality and the sound of airplanes is incredibly loud.   This compact hotel offers extremely small rooms and washrooms, but surprisingly, it's comfortable for two people. The beds are cozy, AC works well, and hot water is available. Breakfast is delicious, although drinking water isn't provided. If you need hot water for tea, you'll need to ask for it, and note that tea/coffee sachets aren't available.The hotel staff stands out for their excellence and helpfulness. However, the location is far from the city center, and there aren't many dining options nearby.Overall, it's an okay property, ideal for those prioritizing budget and convenience over luxury and central location.   Check out the shower before accepting your room

  We walked from the bus station to the hotel and were disappointed that we were unable to get a drink at the hotel had to walk further to a small shop. The shower door was a squeeze to get through . We are not big people but some folks would find it impossible to access the shower! This was room 2. The hotel supplies earplugs due to it being on the airport flight path and railway close by .   This hotel was very clean and rooms were a good size and plenty of storage space .Cleaned with fresh towels every day. All the reception staff were very pleasant and helpful . Situated just outside the city it is very easy to get a taxi from between 5 and 10euro depending on traffic or the train station 10 mins walk away .Tours and taxi to Sintra were very expensive so took the advice of reception staff and took the train which was 11e80 for the 2 of us return. There are a few restaurants in walking distance but I would recommend the Lucimar . This is a traditional Portugal restaurant, food is very good staff friendly and reasonably priced . You get to sit where ever you are put , so meeting different people. It hurts me to put this but I feel all reviews must be positive, there are 2 negatives' firstly our balcony faced into a ring road and secondly it is directly under a flight path into Lisbon airport . None of this bothered us and we still sat on balcony for our evening glass of wine. I would recommend this hotel for cleanliness', brilliant staff and good breakfast .
