    A boutique hotel you must stay in Lisbon

    The Lift Boutique Hotel was recommended to us by our friends who stayed here earlier. And we understood it was for good reasons: The location of the hotel is excellent. It is literally walking distance to many of the historic areas in Lisbon. The hotel is a very nice historic building itself. But more important than anything else is the really friendly, helpful and lovely staff of the hotel, from the manager to Marisa, Tania and Helio (whose permission I have to mention their names here). You must stay in this hotel, and have the wonderful breakfast.We will come back to Lisbon to stay in this hotel again, and strongly recommend it to anyone who visits Lisbon.Enjoy.

    We only had one night in Lisbon before heading home. This hotel was a perfect spot for weary travellers. The room was clean and spacious. The staff were very helpful in arranging transportation to the airport the morning we left.

    We had the loveliest 3 nights here in an Historic Room on the top floor. The room was clean, comfy and had a gorgeous balcony- perfect for a morning coffee and view down to the river or up to the castle over the city skyline.The best bit of the trip was the wonderful staff who went above and beyond. Louisa and another great guy at reception gave us a warm welcome with big smiles. They gave us tips on where to go and authentic Portuguese restaurant recommendations. They also went above and beyond to add treats to our room for our wedding anniversary! It’s in a perfect location, 30 mins on the metro from the airport and 5 mins to the river. The hotel team really made the trip, thank you!

    There were bedbugs in my room. It ruined my visit. I informed the manager and she said they would give me a partial refund but she didn't follow up as promised, and when I checked back they refused to pay.

    Comfortable stay near good restaurants. The staff at this hotel were exceptional. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Two people in particular assisted us and were outstanding, Luis Pisco and Julia Salomao. They assisted us in every way possible. The room was small but everything was very nice, comfortable bed and clean. We used the hotels transportation to the airport and such outstanding service. Our driver parked and walked us up to the airline checkin and carried our luggage. We got great restaurant recommendations too.
