  Hotel was clean but very dated. Shower head only let out a small amount of water, needs replacing. No plug points next to bed. Chipped furniture. No atmosphere in hotel at bar area. Location for us was not central enough as we had to use ubers daily. Very quiet area. If hotel had better facilities it would be good value but not in our opinion. Clean towels daily & bed made up.

Over this time, the hotel has remained a model of practicality, comfort, and exceptional customer service—offering one of the best breakfast operations we’ve encountered anywhere in Portugal. Lodging and Food ServicesRooms are always clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with modern bathrooms and upgraded Wi-Fi throughout the seven-story building.The daily breakfast is abundant, varied, and consistently excellent—so much so that there’s no need to venture out for breakfast anywhere else. (See Photos.) After a busy day of exploring the city, the hotel’s cocktail lounge offers a relaxing space to unwind, featuring a wide selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.Ideal Lisbon LocationLocated near the Instituto Superior Técnico (a prestigious school of engineering, science, and technology), this area is among the safest and most convenient in Lisbon. The neighborhood is clean, quiet, and full of nearby shops, cafés, bakeries, supermarkets, and ATMs—all within easy walking distance.For those using public transportation, three Metro stations—Saldanha, Arroios, and Alameda—are just a short walk away, providing access to nearly every part of the city. Taxis and Ubers are also prompt and inexpensive, with an average wait time of 5 minutes or less, and can be quickly arranged by the reception staff. In the Food & Beverage Department, Ricardo Costa, Mário Macedo, and Anselmo Fonseca are attentive and friendly, while Maintenance Supervisor Helder Jesus ensures that everything runs flawlessly. Together, these professionals make the Turim Alameda operate with precision and genuine care, providing you with fast service and expert problem-solving during all moments of your stay in Lisbon.True Customer Service in ActionSpeaking of “fast service and problem-solving,” here’s an up-to-date example. During our most recent stay, my spouse accidentally left her mobile phone in our room after we had already checked out and subsequently checked into our flight at the airport. After clearing airport security and passport control, I received a call from Receptionist Cavaca reporting that the phone had been turned in by Housekeeper Eva Santo. Working with Assistant Manager Carlos Rodrigues, who personally drove the phone to the airport, hotel staff members coordinated with a security agent at the airport who hand-delivered the phone to my spouse—just ten minutes before boarding! This extraordinary teamwork and dedication go far beyond normal customer service, and so we remain deeply grateful.In summary: The Hotel Turim Alameda consistently provides excellent accommodations, a superior breakfast option, an ideal location, and a truly exceptional staff. After returning for 14 years, we can confidently say this remains our finest Lisbon hotel as well as a benchmark for genuine hospitality.

  Very comfortable hotel, nice view and cozy location.Staff are super friendly with great hospitality services.The breakfast buffet has so much variety in good quality of foodThe hotel also sent me birthday cake and wine on my birthday which is nothing more I could ask for.Highly recommend ~~~~~

  Spent three nights at this hotel last week earlier this month and it was very good overall. Good sized rooms, friendly reception staff and not too noisy at night. Great location near metro stations and an inexpensive Uber trip to the airport.Our twin room could have done with a slight upgrade - the shaving mirror was a little loose, one of the plug sockets didn't feel very secure in the wall and there weren't any sockets by the beds. Nothing that had a negative impact on our trip overall, but very slightly stops this review from being 5 stars. That said, would happily stay here again.

  Great hotel, clean, comfortable rooms, exceptionally helpful staff and in a good location, albeit away from the main tourist area around the river front. The hotel sits between two Metro stations with Alameda Metro having direct links to the centre and also the Airport. The Metro is also very cheap to use at 1 euro per trip.
