Location

This city hotel is conveniently located in the tourist centre of Lisbon, close to one of Lisbon’s main avenues, Avenida Fontes Pereira de Melo. A range of public transport links are available nearby. Guests will find two of the the city’s major metro lines just outside the hotel, ‘Parque’ and ‘Picoas’. The coastline and beach is 26 km away. Guests have good access to a number of businesses located about 200 m away, and the airport is approximately 5 km from the hotel.

Facility

100 rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee).     This hotel was very clean, breakfast was tasty with a lot of various hot and cold dishes. There was air conditioning in the hotel and the room which was great given that it was around +35C outside. It was nice to cool off in the room. The hotel’s location is great. You can walk anywhere from there even to the waterfront if you’re up for a walk. The hotel is near an Aldi store if you want some snacks or fruits. Across from hotel there was a nice cafe/restaurant called Lidia. It was very good. Hotel had happy hour 4-7 p.m. with some cheap but good wine.

    Great hotel. Comfortable bed, air con worked well. Toilet/bath room good size. Reception/ check was easy and welcoming. Bar was very nice, the 2 lovely young ladies serving on different nights, were welcoming and very friendly, chatting and joking with us. Hotel Decor is good, marble floors. Only small down side was the TV in room, a small, very old flat screen, that was worn out at the screen edge, with terrible reception, so old it only had scart connections. But that hardly spoilt or late evenings stay. Good location in city, very near Metro station. We would definitely stay here again.

    Comfy friendly hotel, just on the outskirts of the city centre. It’s about 30-40 minutes downhill into town, or just catch the regular bus just around the corner on the main road. (722, 736 etc) which takes you to the square at Rossio. We had room 305, at the end of the corridor so nice and quiet. Strange piped music whenever you enter the room, but just press the top button on the control to turn off.Comfy bed, parquet floor. Safe and mini fridge. Tv with BBC and Sky News. Hairdryer in bathroom. Bath with shower over.Need keycard to use the lift. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent, continental, cereals, coffee, juice, cooked breakfast, cakes, bread etc. Recommend the little restaurant directly across the road in the yellow building.

    Nice but dated hotel

    This is a nice hotel in a location slightly outside the city center. It is about a 5 minute walk to an underground station which makes it well connected though. The hotel itself is quite dated but well kept and clean. The check-in was pretty smooth and the staff were quite helpful. There is a breakfast for only 15 EUR per person which seems fair. I would recommend this place if you don't need to stay directly in the city center.

    I am utterly disappointed with Turim Europa Hotel. We booked this hotel for my husband’s first year death anniversary. Since he’s passed away we committed to going back every year since Portugal was the last country we visited together. I booked this hotel for out Lisbon stay through Expedia (receipt attached) for two nights. As we stayed in Fatima the other couple of nights. However when we were checking in they also asked for 45 Euros deposit on top of the charges that was agreed with Expedia. I didn’t think it unnecessary since some accommodation do sometimes demand deposit although not quite common since I am a frequent traveler but nevertheless I paid the required deposit amount since I was told it is refundable upon check out. On the early morning of our check out 7 May 2024, I then spoke to the receptionist on duty and reminded them of my deposit. I was then told it would be returned back into my credit card up to maximum of 30 days after check out. However, 30 days later it still hasn’t gone back to my account. The first time I tried to get help from Expedia customer service and they got hold of the hotel they were told it was already refunded. Second time they just kept ignoring the email from Expedia, even though we sent them the receipt for the deposit. Up to this date, 6 July 2024 the €45 still hasn’t gone back to my credit card. Today is the third time that I have been told by customer service from Expedia who’s been directly contacting Turim Europa Hotel customer service /reception desk to refund my deposit. I’ve been waiting for over two months and I feel like I’m being robbed by this company. It’s not even a huge amount but it’s the principle that they should return what is rightfully owed by them to me. I wish they would be honest, as I feel like being defrauded by Turim Europa hotel. I am certainly not going back to this hotel next year if this is how they treat their customers
