    Beautiful hotel has a great breakfast buffet with friendly staff. Deolinda and Marcos always greeted everyone cheerfully and Deolinda helped me with my dismal Portuguese. Our room was very comfortable.

    The rooms were clean, and the housekeeping service was excellent. However, the breakfast experience was disappointing. The breakfast staff, including the female manager, appeared more focused on socialising with each other than attending to guests. Additionally, their attitude felt unwelcoming, which impacted the overall experience. The quality of service during breakfast could be significantly improved

    There are positives of course with this TURIM hotel. It is noteworthy that there are 4 in Lisbon but this review only reflects the experience on one. It is in a good location surrounded by cafes, transit and Hop On Hop Off tour busses. It is on a dead end street where there is parking right out front. @ 30 Euros /day. Cannot be booked in advance. Checking in went well. Porter to assist with luggage when required. To access your floor you must have your key card with you to tap in the elevator. We had two single beds, one chair, small desk, clean washroom with shower, large window that opened and as with most European hotels lighting is dimmer. The rooms are small but that is expected. There were two instant coffee pods in the room with a kettle. Two petite wafers as well. Nothing was replenished. We had to ask front desk but they only offered one pod. Similar with towels 2 large and 2 small. No facecloths and to get an extra towel it took three requests. Afterwards only provided two. There is a bar on site which is handy. Front reception friendly.Breakfast buffet is 15 Euros, we found that oatmeal, sausage, eggs etc were cold. Coffee was from a machine that had various options but everything we tried tasted like chocolate. Limited croissants etc and not replenished. There are several places around that served breakfast for similar, less expensive.One thing to note - Air Conditioning is not available till later into spring/summer. The rooms were very warm. An old fan was provided and we had our window open all night. Just something to consider.

    Room too hot!

    Room was too hot for a comfortable sleep. Even with windows wide open in Feb! The air con control in the room is useless. All it does is to turn warm air on or off. Complained to front desk and was told to turn aircon off and open window!UNACCEPTABLE! Stay well away from this hotel! You have been warned!

    Much to like about the hotel, good location with Metro blue line (ie. AZUL) down into town being close by -opposite McDonalds around corner, (simply tap in/out with debit card like London). Uber rides to/from airport also easy/reasonable. Staff very helpful and hotel generally smart/clean (slight drain smell near lifts on ground floor?)Room is let down by dim lighting, restricted/patchy WiFi, and poor air con regulation/control. Breakfast let down by vending style machine “fruit juices” ( rehydrated syrups?) and similar poor tasting vending style coffee machine
