This hotel is located in Avenida 5 de Outubro, number 11, 11.and enjoys an excellent setting in the commercial centre of the Portuguese capital, between Platz Marquês de Pombal and dem Platz Duque de Saldanha. It is only a couple of metres to Avenida da Liberdade and guests will find themselves in the direct vicinity of a range of bars and restaurants as well as links to the public transport network. It is around 1 km to the famous Barrio Alto and to the other tourist attractions, such as the Alfama the EXPO centre and Belém are about 5 km from the hotel. Lisbon international airport is situated approximately 4 km from the hotel.

Facility

86 non-smoking rooms, including 3 junior suites and 81 double rooms, are located on 7 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service are available.     Clean hotel in a quiet location

    We are on our 2nd night of a 2 night pre cruise stay. The room is small but has everything you need i.e. kettle, mini bar, hairdryer and flat screen TV with netflix & youtube. The bed is 2 singles pushed together. Pillows and bedding are comfortable but the mattress is too hard, however I understand that this is a personal preference. The shower is over the bath but water pressure and temperature are good. We are on room only so I cannot comment on the food. There is a reasonably priced cafe over the road from the hotel for breakfast - 2 coffee's, a sausage pastry and a huge custard doughnut was 7.50 euros. Not the healthiest of breakfasts but we are on our holidays!. It is about a 30 minute walk to the centre. We are in our 60's and manage it easily. If you prefer there is a metro station around the corner from the hotel and plenty of buses on the main street.     Perfect short break

    We have just returned from a city break to Lisbon. We stayed at the Hotel Zenit Lisbon. This hotel was in a great location for a short stay. It only took 20 minutes to get there on the metro from the airport, followed by a 3 minute walk to the hotel itself! Perfect for a 3 night stay. The hotel was immaculately clean, very comfortable rooms, staff were friendly and helpful in fact everything that makes a holiday work. We were on a bed and breakfast basis and found the breakfast had adequate choices to set us up for a day of sightseeing. We were less than a 10 minute walk to the tourist sighseeing buses too which was another bonus. We would definitely use this hotel again.     Hotel location excellent. On main metro line from airport with easy access to tourist sites. Hotel is good value and as we have a nephew who lives in Lisbon, we know where we would stay in the future.     Not as dog friendly as they advertise.

    Great location and price/ valueThey advertised as dog friendly and charged for our dogs, the first night no bed, bowl or treats were provided, when asked they said they do t provide those items and charge for allowing the dog in the room! I escalated the matter and after speaking to the manager a dog bed and bowl arrived for the second night. They are missing a truck with couples travelling without the kids but with dogs who are the new children. I wouldn’t go back here.     We stayed at Zenit Hotel in Lisbon, 5 minute walk from metro underground station Saldanha and a direct link to the airport which took 30 minutes door to door. Great location with easy walking access everywhere. There is a good amount of street parking but always busy so may need to circle a lot or hotel has underground parking but at a daily cost (we used the metro as we had already handed back our rental car and took metro to airport when leaving). Overall the room was very nice, comfortable king bed with additional 2 seater sofa bed for 16 year old, nice bathroom and good shower etc. coffee/tv etc all in room. A few negative points of the room was a weak air conditioner air flow, it did cool the room but took a while, a few water marks on bathroom ceiling and some damage to a wall tile/grout from bathroom door opening onto it. Overall not a deal breaker or going to ruin the stay but at just over 200 euros a night, I would not have expected them. Breakfast was included and it was very nice, good sized breakfast area with a very good range of hot/cold food, cereal and pastries, juices/coffee etc etc we were very happy with the breakfast and the selection available. We also had drinks at the bar in the lobby area after a long hot walk around the city which was nice. We noticed a busy fish restaurant and another busy steak house across the street from the hotel, but we were not there long enough to try them. I would stay here again all be it the slight room issues, maybe just a bad room and we were unlucky??
