  There are 2 Sheraton hotels in Qingdao city and this one faces the sea. If you want to enjoy view, better to tell you want ocean view. My room faced the front shopping mall.The room was very spacious and clean. I slept well in a big bed. There were good quality of shampoo, conditioner and body soap. 2 bottles of water were delivered for each night. I liked the alarm clock as many hotels don't have it anymore since guests have smart phone. The breakfast was great with variety of foods. You can bring coffee to your room, ask for a cup to staff.I saw a food delivery robot moving around inside the hotel. I guess a guest order food delivery, the delivery staff arrives at hotel and set the food to the robot, then robot delivers to food to the guest's room. Clever service!!There's a swimming pool and gym in the basement. Too bad I didn't have time to go but my collogue said they were nice ones.The surrounding area is big, shopping and restaurants area adjacent to the hotel. 慢丽江庐山路店 is very close by you can have good hot pot and Yunnan mushrooms.

  Very bad experience, wet carpet, foul mould smell

  I checked in very late at night with my group.My room floor carpet was wet and there is very foul smell of mould.I asked to change a room but they denied saying there is no single room left and do nothing about it.They should not accept guest in this kind of condition of the room.The night duty staff asked me if I want to leave the hotel, at 3am.As it is impossible to move hotel at that hour and the the staff won't take any action, I had to sleep with the window open, to the noise from the main road beside it.The hotel is quite old and run down.   Positives and room for improvement. Check in was awful as the staff were unfriendly, no smiles and no please or thank you. However, other team members were very pleasant. Perhaps they should be moved to the meet and greet.The breakfast was exceptionally good. A wide variety and all warm. The staff and breakfast were wonderful.I have to mention the gym. Although not big, the equipment was modern and the place modern.The hotel is 5 star, unfortunately the check in staff are not.   Great hotel to work out of. The restaurant serves a great breakfast and dinner. Rose was singing most nights and has a fantastic voice, made staying there much more pleasant. Gym facility is in great shape and the swimming pool is a good size to do some laps. Sauna and steam room weren’t working while I was there but the beds are absolutely comfortable. Most people had enough of a grasp of English for me ti get by and the concierge even set me up with taobao so all my packages would arrive. Looking forward to my next visit.

  The hotel is situated close to a lake, and I was allocated a magnificent suite with a stunning lake view. The breakfast area was spacious, offering a diverse selection of dishes ranging from Western to local cuisine. The suite itself was vast, including a shower room that overlooked the picturesque lake. I appreciated the cleanliness and the convenience of having two sinks, especially when staying with a partner. However, there were issues during my stay; the TV didn't work, and the air conditioning was disabled due to electricity control in the autumn season. This made it challenging to sleep at night and stay comfortable inside the room during the day. Additionally, the path leading to the lobby was undergoing repairs in October 23.
