Location

This hotel is in a unique and quiet location at the edge of the cliff, 55 m above the Atlantic Ocean on the south coast of the resort village of Caniço de Baixo. The establishment is a 3-minute walk from the beautiful pebble beach or a 3-minute walk to the nearby outdoor swimming pool, which includes snorkelling and diving facilities. Within 2 km of Caniço guests can find supermarkets, a petrol station, shopping centres, several restaurants, a pharmacy, a post office and more. The capital, Funchal, and Madeira Airport are both 10 min away by car.

Facility

9 non-smoking rooms are available to guests. Check-in and check-out are possible at any time at the reception desk. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere.     Could not fault Staff, very welcoming Service with a broad smile Always at hand Food good Fantastic ocean views 2 minutes walk to the ocean if you fancy a swim in the Atlantic sea Absolutely loved it, and will recommend to all my clients Well done

    After arriving at hotel checked in then told our accommodation was a quarter mile away up a steep hill hauling 3 suitcases. The one bedroom villa was poorly equipped no kettle the hand rail leading up the stairs was loose toilet seat loose also expected a double bed but single ones. We had to walk a quarter mile for breakfast in heavy rain no one explained at the time of booking. Not the hotels fault about the weather but the bedroom started to flood also the kitchen flooded from under the sink, after arriving back to the main land our suitcases were full of lice my wife was bitten on her bottom also I have bite marks all over my back overall not very happy

    Fantastic hotel and apartments in gorgeous Canico :)

    Loved my holiday in Madeira and the apartment was huge, well furnished and with everything you need. Just perfevt! I will be back :) I was travelling on my own but the apartment is big enough for a family. Lots of options nearby too to eat and hotel food was very good. The breakfast is served on a terrace overlooking the Atlantic. It is just an amazing atmosphere :)

    We decided to try the restaurant. When the meals arrived my mum's pork had a hair on it. They took it away, but left the vegetables to go cold. Then we had a dead fly in the salad. I told the waitress and her reply was at least it died happy. I have never had such poor service. There was no aplogy and we still paid full price for the meal. I will never go there again.
