Location

This resort is located on the spectacular 9 km golden sandy beach of Porto Santo, surrounded by a 22 000 m² garden, and is a mere 5 min drive from the main village Vila Baleira.

Facility

In addition to 6 villas/houses, this spacious property also includes a residential complex composed of two 3-storey buildings. Guests can choose between 85 suites, 68 apartments and 115 studios. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a safe and a currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services and facilities include a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, room service (for a fee), a laundry service, a hairdresser and a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service to explore the surrounding area. Lectures, presentations and meetings can be held in one of the 2 conference rooms.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. Guests can enjoy the view of the pool from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Children's beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a CD player, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) ensure optimal comfort. Slippers are included. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. Sun loungers and parasols on the sun terrace create a perfect space for guests to relax and unwind. A variety of activities such as tennis, beach volleyball, basketball, golf, fishing and horse riding or, for a fee, cycling/mountain biking, are offered at the resort. With windsurfing, jet skiing, motorboat rides, canoeing, sailing, catamaraning, kayaking, snorkelling, diving and aquafit available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. A wide range of indoor sporting activities are also offered, for example a gym, table tennis, callisthenics and aerobics or, for a fee, billiards and darts. Various wellness options are available at the resort, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, a beauty salon, massage treatments and hydrotherapy treatments. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy a fun entertainment programme.

Meals

Dining facilities include 4 restaurants, a café and a bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board, full board and all-inclusive. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, guests serve themseves at the buffet or choose their preferred fare from the menu (for lunch and dinner). Gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. The resort also offers snacks. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    We enjoyed our stay very much, this place is extremely relaxing. Our room was clean and tidy. The garden is one of the main highlights. The food was delicious, the only problem was that in the afternoon there were available only plastic cups for coffee etc. I had a massage that was very pleasant and relaxing (I healed my backache there thanks to the massage and healing sand 😊). As for the spa, there could be warmer water in the indoor pool. Another problem was the bathrobes - you have to order them in advance and sometimes there are no available. In general, this stay was very pleasant and relaxing and we would like to return.

    We've stayed in the recently finished and opened part of the resort. Our experience was overall perfect. Everything clean, food and drinks great, personnel very friendly, room service spotless. Compared to other destinations, both the beach and the sea (ocean) were uniquely clean and a pleasure to relax at / swim and have fun in. We'd love to come back anytime soon. Overall so far one of the best places we've been to in given price range.

    We celebrated my father's 80th birthday at this wonderful property, and it truly lived up to every expectation. This place has become our family's go-to venue for special occasions, and now we know why.A special thank you to Marta Vasconcelos, who coordinated the entire event for our group of 11 guests with impeccable attention to detail and the highest standards throughout. Her dedication made the planning process seamless and stress-free.The highlight of the celebration was undoubtedly the pool bar, where the entertainment team went above and beyond to create a magical atmosphere, we all danced and had the most amazing time together. Every single guest left feeling genuinely cared for and grateful for the exceptional service they received.The facilities, service, and amenities are all highly recommended. From the installations to the smallest personal touches, everything was thoughtfully executed.We have no doubt we will return for many more celebrations to come. A heartfelt thank you to Marta and the entire Pestana team for making my father's 80th birthday a truly unforgettable memory.
