Location

This small yet sophisticated hotel is located in the hotel area of Funchal. The hotel is located in a historic building constructed in 1860. Guests have a choice of 37 non-smoking rooms located in two 4-storey buildings with lifts. The reception desk in the lobby is staffed round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas.     This is a solid and affordable option well situated in Cordoba. I had a great experience here in my one night stay. The hotel is in an old, historic building and blends in quite well with the vintage neighborhood it is located in. My room was small with a single bed but perfect for my stay in Cordoba. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the must see attractions as well. The gentleman who ran the hotel was very nice and helpful. Breakfast is basic but very ample. I highly recommend this hotel.

    Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. It's a small centrally located family run b and b about 5 minutes walk from the main bus stop.All the main attractions like Mezquita and historical center are under 10 minutes walking distance.The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. I had to break open my luggage lock because I lost the keys and they promptly helped The single room is a good enough size for one person and extremely clean.Rooms are cleaned every day.WiFi is super strong and worked in both my iPad and phone.On the third day when I was to leave they also accommodated with a late check out .All in all a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this place to others.

    Cordoba is a city worth visiting, however, parking space is rare and you'll get town away. People are busy, food is awful, no service. This hotel is an extension of the city's inhospitality. It has no parking space, although all of its neighbouring 1*hotels have. At the check in we were told, that there is no parking. However further down the road, all other hotels had. The room was noisy,we hardly slept quiet for one week and it's simply down to the narrow streets and constant traffic in the old town. The hotel's restaurant was either closed or had awful choice of food. And last but not least, our towels weren't changed once in the whole week. Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere. It's expensive and inhospitable, noisy, a rip off.

    WARNING - this place is a DISASTER !The actual building and location looks lovely ...... very cute exterior and a really nice open terrace at the front of the hotel where you can eat.HOWEVER..... THE SERVICE IS TERRIBLE.....like a VERY bad comedy show.The main waiter running around like a fool pretending he was so busy that he could never stop to either take an order.... follow up on an order.... or pay a bill.... the place really is a joke. The two waitresses looked and acted like they had never talked to a human being before and remained hidden inside despite the place being busy.We waited 90 minutes to get our food. Then the waiter arrived with only one dish and virtually ran off. On asking where the other plate of food was (we were two people), he just said that there was an error in the order and the chef had only made one dishNo apology..... no offer of a complimentary glass of wine.... no offer to quickly make something else.It really was like a bad comedy show and left a very bad feeling during our day visit to Cordoba.Note to Hotel owner - SACK your waiting staff they are some of the worst I have ever come across.
