This hotel is located directly beside a beautiful pebble beach in the leisure area of Caniço de Baixo. The centre is about 3 km away. The immediate vicinity offers a variety of shopping facilities, bars, restaurants and links to the public transport network.

Facility

26 suites, 28 apartments and 170 double rooms are located on 8 storeys and can be reached by lift. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. Guests can browse a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). Further services and facilities include a babysitting service (for a fee), a car hire service, medical assistance, room service (for a fee), an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests who wish to explore the surrounding area by bike will appreciate the bicycle hire service. Bicycle storage is also available. 2 conference rooms are available for lectures, presentations and meetings.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. In most units, guests can enjoy a partial sea view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms include a double bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A desk, and for a fee, a safe and a minibar are also available. The kitchenette comes with a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has non-smoking rooms.

Sport

There are indoor and outdoor pools and a children's swimming area. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub (no extra charge) offer the perfect way to unwind. Guests can relax and enjoy the sun loungers and parasols provided. For those who wish to stay active while on holiday, the hotel offers a putting green. Alternatively, guests can try out snorkelling or, for a fee, diving. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, darts, yoga, callisthenics and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath and a solarium and, for an additional fee, a hammam, a spa, a beauty salon and massage treatments. Meals

Dining facilities include a dining room, a café and a bar. Guests are warmly welcomed at the 2 restaurants (non-smoking, à la carte, air conditioning and high chairs). Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and all-inclusive. All-inclusive holidaymakers enjoy special extras like snacks, in addition to a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. A delicious and varied buffet awaits guests at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes, children's meals and vegan food can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and picnics are available. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction.

    Great facilities but not customer service

    The location and family facilities were great. The ladies in the kids club were really friendly. The facilities generally and rooms were also good. The food was fine. What really let the hotel down was the general level of customer service which wasn’t great. My husband tried to book me a spa treatment a number of times but there was no one there and when there was they were so rude I told him not too bother. We also booked an airport transfer through the hotel which they advertise a lot. It was due to pick us up at 8.10am and at 6.45am I got a text from the company saying it was cancelled and we would get a refund. We got an uber but it was unnecessarily stressful and I would not recommend using the service. No one at the hotel reception seemed particularly interested that this had happened which was typical of their overall approach to customer service. I sent an email and got an AI generated response.     Brilliant!!

    We had a brilliant week at The Views Oasis with Jet2. We were a family of 4 - kids aged 3 & 7. The hotel was even better than the photos! Brilliantly clean, buffet breakfast was fantastic and facilities for children were great - a playroom with ballpit (all tastefully decorated), kids activities, children allowed in indoor pool too. We were in a sea view suite which was really spacious - two balconies, the kids slept on pull out beds in the main living area and we were in separate bedroom with connecting door - it was perfect arrangement. Small kitchenette - no oven or grill - with cooking ringsx2, kettle, microwave. We could walk from the door and also enjoyed getting the shuttle bus into Funchal. Car hire via the reception desk was faultless - so easy to organise. Definitely get out and see the interior of Madiera, it's amazing! Did some levada walks, Ponto Crista Rei at Garajau, Nun's valley, Machico, Prainha beach, Sao Laurenco peninsula - having a car made it so much easier. Totally recommend - we all loved it!!     Deeply disappointed

    We arrived yesterday and had a lovely lady check us in.Unfortunately everything went downhill at dinner and this morning. Last night at the included buffet dinner, we found a worm in the food. We notified the restaurant manager Joao, who was great. He was not impressed and advised he will speak to the hotel manager and for us to connect with that manager the next day.This morning we went to the front desk, and we're told there is no hotel manager due to it being Easter Sunday. They tried to call but couldn't reach anyone and told us to come back again tomorrow to discuss this.We are not eating here given what happened, and unfortunately didn't feel the front desk person today really want to assist and find a resolution.One other thing that bugged me is a half board which is breakfast and dinner has zero drinks included. This is surprising to me and even you could not get water at dinner without paying for it.Not having a manager on duty is really surprising, as I am not sure how you are supposed to deal with issues if they arise.For the moment there is not a resolution, so I will keep this as 1 star for now.Picture of worm on the ground, as I threw it down after noticing it.

    We had a very good stay. The staff everywhere were great. Especially the night receptionist. All the reception staff were amazing. Nothing was too much for them. Varied and delicious breakfast. Prosecco was a very nice addition. The massages we had in the spa were amazing.     Second time around just as good brilliant holiday

    This is our second visit to this hotel and we absolutely loved it.We had a sea view room once again which is perfect for a family of four kids were able to have their own room.Plenty of choice at breakfast and was open until 10.30 am no need to rush.Poolside bar food was excellent Victor the barman was great.Entertainment in evening was varied and plenty going on for everyone.The rooms were cleaned every other day.The staff were all lovely and friendly we were made very welcome.Lots going on for younger families too.You can book the hotel bus into Funchal which is about 10 kilometres away.Overall another brilliant holiday already hoping the plan our third visit back there.
