    a lovely atmosphere but restaurant odd

    The overall atmosphere around the resort was chilled and pleasant with the staff being friendly and welcoming. The pool was a main factor in enjoyment as it was warm and open to anybody. Although, the restaurant was rather odd with the atmosphere feeling empty and peculiar however the staff especially sandro were fabulous and working very hard . on the first tuesday of our arrival thier were local dancers coming into the restaurant and it was rather disturbing

    Lovely resort but do not use HPB airport transfers!

    Lovely villa and facilities, staff mostly very friendly especially Martin the restaurant manager who went out of his way to make our holiday special. However, DO NOT book an airport transfer directly with HPB as it is extortionate. We paid £260 for 8 of us return from Funchal airport. We used several local taxis whilst here and for the same trip we were quoted a maximum of £140 return to and from airport! There are plenty of taxis at the airport and BOLT also have lots of taxis available from the main towns in Maderia. We contacted HPB regarding this and were disappointed with their couldn’t care less attitude. We would definitely return again, this is our second holiday here but would not book HPB transfers again

    2nd time here, weather a bit mixed for end June, but nice relax was needed. All staff are very friendly and accommodating. Nice accommodation, nice time on tricky golf, and bowls and tennis. Must try miradour up the road and ville de la paix in camera da lobos.

    First time here and wasn’t disappointed . The feed back prior to visiting was spot on. A lovely site , great accommodation and facilities . The staff were excellent,so friendly and professional. It is very hilly but manageable. Lovely restaurant on site and in local villages. Thanks Rui and his team See you again soon .
