    AWFUL

    rating04 Oct 2024

DO NOT STAY HERE. Multiple issues. Had to wait awhile when needed help. Worker was sleeping. Owner incredibly rude and aggressive. No regular coffee in the room, only decaf. Was given a plunger to fix the toilet when I brought it to their attention. No hot water in the shower. Shower does not drain well. Dead bug in the bed. Refused to give me corporate number.

    Stay away from this hotel!!

    rating16 Dec 2023

When we first arrived in lobby- there were 2 men sleeping on the couch....which should of been the first red flag. 1-Parking lot poorly lit- it was dark. 2- Entrance to back of hotel was unlocked and had NO lock or entry pad on it. 3-Room smelled awful! They even had a box of baking soda on the shelf. 4- Flies in bathroom- keep in mind it's December. The hotel had 3 vehicles outside our room that were running straight for the 2 hours we were there- which the exhaust fimes were coming I to our room n making the smell even worse! My husband went down the hall to the desk only because the phone in our room did not work- he passed 2 men that came in back entrance n they went into hall restroom. Stay away from this hotel...its wandering very unsafe! Health department needs to be contacted! Parking lot of garbage says it all

    Heed the Warnings

    rating09 Oct 2023

First, I'm not a picky person. I grew up with an outhouse, so I can compromise when things aren't perfect....this however, was horrible. Summary, in case you don't want to read all below, unsafe carpet pulled up from floor (that's a mighty fine trip hazard there), no extra blanket could be found, look at the picture of the comforter....was it rats????? How in the world can it get THAT bad and still be put on a hotel bed???? Stained sheets with holes in them, spider web, coffee pot in BATHROOM. Now, more detail: Carpet was pulled up so you could see subfloor below, creating a huge trip hazard for older people in my room. I asked front desk to come down (because she didn't believe me), she agreed when she saw it, but didn't have another room, nor TAPE to simply make it safe. I asked for an extra blanket (again, refer to picture)..nope, they didn't have one of those either. Had we not been there for a festival we'd waited all year for, (banana pudding festival and it was amazing) and the other hotels weren't booked up, I wouldn't just ate the money and moved to another hotel. It was that bad, but the fact that they couldn't care less made it worse.

    Embarrassing for a Choice property

    rating14 Jul 2023

One point for a very nice clerk who checked us in. And the guy who checked us out. Now……first of all, they will ask for $50. Deposit (cash will be returned at check out) or on the card which will be credited a few days later. For what? The guy says to make sure no one smokes in the room. Unfortunately the rooms already smelled like smoke. The hotel is in need of a general overhaul. Tearing it down would be the kindest thing. Torn carpet, torn (shredded) shear curtains, holes in the bed spreads, shredded arm padding on the desk chair, flies in the rooms, and hanging cords in the hallway. A card was not needed to enter the building which makes it not very secure. We stayed there because we had a specific business we wanted to go to and this was only 5 minutes away and the only hotel within miles. I thought the indoor corridors and it being a choice hotel, that it would be ok. NOT ok.

Quality Inn - not so quality

    rating28 Mar 2023

Quality Inn, what a disappointment. Upon arriving, there was a pull-behind trailer as you drove up and new carpet rolls just outside the front doors. Clearly, renovation would be happening soon. However, the carpet flanked the opening (they could have fallen as there was nothing around it), and there wasn't even a caution sign. Once going inside, the first thing I noticed was how dark it was. There were no lights on in the lobby, and yet there was a gentleman in there with the TV on. The lights were on at the front desk. The smell hit next; it smelled like a Fabulouso bottle had been dumped it was so strong. The bright side is that it was clean, but not without side effects. After getting my room key, I headed in. The smell overtook that room, too. I was physically ill at this point and had to use the bathroom. I looked around the room, and there was a hole in the wall near the window, damage on other parts of the wall as well. The drain in the sink was just a hole, no blocker, so you could easily drop something down the sink and lose it. I couldn't stay there. I am extremely smell sensitive, and strong scents trigger my migraines with me, which will have me down for days at a time. I spoke to the front desk agent about the smell (Pine-Sol, apparently, not Fabulouso) and she offered another room. If the scent was that bad in the lobby and the room I went into, clearly that scent would be throughout the hotel as that is the cleaning agent they use. I booked a night at a different hotel and told her that, as there was no way I could stay. As I loaded my things back into my vehicle that is when I noticed the broken glass on one of the hotel room windows. Safety is a concern at this point - the hole in the wall, the broken glass. No thank you. The positive is that the front desk agent was nice, polite.
