  Dont believe the pictures.

  I will start with a positive note and say that the location is great. Walking distance to sites, cafes and transportation. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the apartment. It is very basic and not even a picture on any wall. Dont believe the pictures you see online and what they don't tell you is that there is no cleaning done (we stayed 8 days) unless you pay 15 euros for each time and dont look for any cleaning items. We actually borrowed a vacuum cleaner from the front one day and used our Kleenex wipes to freshen up the bathroom..There was a coffee maker however no coffee, sugar or anything else and the coffee filter that was inside still had old grounds and mould in it. The building next door is under renovations so most times you had to squeeze out the door by a cement truck or scaffolding fence. Hopefully any questions you have are when someone is in the little office (10:00am 7:00pm) but not always there. We also made arrangements thru the hotel for airport pick up which DIDN'T happen. This is not just this accomodation l am told however be aware that there is a "special tax" of 2 euros per day per person . This cost us another 40 + euros upon arrival. Never having experienced this at any other European hotel, we were caught off guard.Porto is a lovely place and we enjoyed our time there even with our less than great accommodations.

  great location, modern style, know that it is NO FRILLS

  Great: location is near all the city center stuff. it is clean. there is some security at the door (a code is required to enter). there is a nice modern, updated style to all the furniture. Caution but not bad enough to not book here: 1) a bit hard to find though (it is up a narrow alley, but isn't everything in Porto...) 2) there is 1 bathroom with 1 mirror, only! ONE MIRROR. not enough for 4-5 people to get ready3) beds are a bit hard, and small (full size)4) street noise is a lot if the windows are open - we couldn't keep the windows open for fresh air at night as there would be truck noise all night into the morning.5) the AC in the 2nd bedroom did not work - air flow but no cooling.

  Bright, clean apartment, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, a great alternative to a full service hotel.Outstanding location close to both waterfront and historic Centre.Friendly helpful advice from front desk made our 6 day stay perfect.Highly recommend

  Moldy apartment

  This could have been a great apartment for us. A big well equipped apartment to be able to cook our own food. But unfortunately they have a huge problem with air flow. The smell in the apartment was like a damp moldy basement. The bed also felt damp. We woke up feeling nauseous every morning after breathing the bad smelling air all night. At check out I told the receptonist about this and he said the company was aware of the problem and that other apartments in the building was even worse. If the apartment would have had good air flow I would have rated it a five, but since the smell was almost unbearable at times I give it a rating of two.

  Great apartment in a great location

  This apartment was spacious, clean, bright, and well-appointed. The location was fantastic - steps from shops/restaurants and minutes from the train station. All the tourist spots were very easily accessible.Check in / check out was quick and easy. Would stay here again and highly recommend.
