    Great hotel with exceptional staff. Pool, spa and free parking. Golf course with excellent restaurant and stunning views and challenging play.     Only one night here but would return

    Stayed here after a round of golf.Room was clean and spacious. Staff were extremely helpful.Very cheap night included breakfast so definitely good value for money.Ate in golf restaurant which was rather pricey but a short walk away rather than driving into town.Will definitely return for a couple of nights as very convenient for golf course.

    A bit outside from the center of the city. Nice environment being a golf resort. The hotel has nice facilities and we enjoyed.Rooms was ok nothing special but room was good size.Breakfast was ok, satisfactory but nothing special.

    Dirty sheets, then didn’t change then and claimed they did

    Arrived at the room and noticed some stains on the sheets.Called reception and they said they would send someone to clean it up while we went to the pool.When we came back we noticed the stains were still there (however a bit faded).At the reception they ensured the sheets had been changed, even though we were telling the clerk there were the exact same stains.So someone is clearly at fault here and making fools out of the customers.As if dirty sheets weren’t bad enough, they still try to make fools out of their customers. Lamentable.The funniest part is that we had had a similar problem in a hotel in Braga from the same company, Axis.

    We stayed here as part of a golfing trip to northern Portugal. We enjoyed the golf course which is very good … if lacking in decent practice facilities. The hotel is nothing special … clean and functional - no bar, but you can buy alcohol in reception for consumption in your room. There is a pool and gym attached which is for use by hotel guests - and outside members too. The staff in the gym were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is ok. As the hotel does not have a restaurant, we had a package which allowed us to eat in the golf club restaurant. The food here is very mediocre indeed … a set menu with a choice of two dishes per course (more for desert). My veal pasta was pretty much inedible on one night I am sad to say. The staff in the restaurant are very hit and miss … apart from Miguel who tried exceedingly hard and looked after us very well. Thumbs up to him!
