  We could not find fault with these apartments. They are very well situated. Just slightly outside the main city but great connections. The metro is right across the road from the front door. We walked down into the town on the first day which took us about 40 mins. We had the apartment on the first floor with the terrace. Very big inside with a lovely terrace which was great since we had a couple of beautifl sunny days. Alessandra, who looked after us, gave us lots of information about the area, she also arranged a transfer back to the airport for us. The apartment was extremely clean and well cared for. Highly recommended.

  Perfect end to our vacation

  Excellent choice instead of hotel! Extremely clean, spacious and convenient. Service was excellent.We weren't able to check in until 5pm which left us 9 hours to lounge in a cafe. We were finishing up a 10 day vacation and I was very sick so walking back down to the river was out. We found a wonderful place and still clocked 4 miles!

  Very good view of the river Douro.Service provided was of top class with excellent trained staff at Checkin, breakfast, laundry.Reception desk was keeping and conveying messages dilligently.Breakfast staff were smilingly providing the options chosen for eggs or coffee.

  Stunning Attic apartment with balcony - with easy access to the sights

  My Wife and I have just returned from a wonderful 7 day trip to Porto. We stayed at The B O Marques Apartments - top floor superior room with large balcony overlooking gardens and south facing. Alexandra met us and gave us all information about the apartment, what to do, where to eat, bus/metro/taxi information and where to visit. She was then and continued to be throughout our stay helpful, happy and courteous - A Wonderful Lady! The apartment itself was well appointed and equipped with washing machine, Nespresso coffee machine, ceramic hob, microwave, TV, iron and free use of a smart phone with pre-programmes of the sights , restaurants etc. You were allowed to take it out with you to use the google maps to show you the walking routes to the various places and attractions. The apartments are across the road from the metro (use the yellow line route), taxi ranks and close to bus stops. Metro was about 3 euros to most places and a taxi 10 euros (we went with two friends, so a taxi was cheap for the 4 of us). Walking to the City Centre took about 20 minutes and to the Historic part and The River Douro, about 45 minutes. The Historic part is beautiful and vibrant. Lot's of restaurants and level walks along the riverside. Be sure to go on a boat trip and visit the Port Houses for Port Wine tasting! We found eating out relatively inexpensive compared to other European Cities. Be sure to visit Augustus Restaurant - Alexandra will give you their card- limited menu but excellent food, fantastic service - all the waiting staff were very friendly, helpful and amusing- set menu was 10.95 Euros for 3 courses including beer or wine! There are also lots of other very good restaurants - just visit the restaurant app on the smart phone in the apartment. A bonus was that you could buy a reasonable bottle of Port at the nearby supermarket for 3.98 Euros!I could go on and on. Porto is a great place to visit and the B O Marques Apartments a perfect place to stay - I rate the apartments very highly indeed!

  Brilliant Appartment with Outside Space

  The place is a little way out from the center but easily to get to the center you metro or simply walking. Taxi rank outside and are very cheap especially if sharing. The staff are very happy to help with recommendations for places to go. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with plenty of space and two bathrooms.The apartment is well is well presented and decorated.
