This hotel is located in Oporto's tourist district just a few metres from the centre. Shops, cafés, boutiques, bars, restaurants and nightlife venues are to be found here and the airport is approximately 10 minutes away.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1853. The hotel has 4 suites and 67 double rooms, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A baggage storage service and a safe are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Other services include room service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry.

Rooms

    First off, the visit to Porto was a very mixed bag. We stayed in three different neighborhood on our two visits to Porto. Two were within, or on the edge of the city center. Not particularly pleasant for my wife and I, but if the visit you want is high energy, high density of people, ultra-busy nightlife, then you'll like it. At the tail end of our road trip of Portugal, we stayed in the Foz do Douro neighborhood, where this hotel is located - and we can say, this is THE ONLY neighborhood that we'd consider for a return trip to Porto. And this hotel was the perfect hotel for home base. The staff couldn't have been more friendly. The location was awesome. The promenade, the beach surf, was wonderful. There is obviously a lot of money in this neighborhood, and a lot of class. This is Porto For Grown-ups. And the hotel was a perfect introduction to the neighborhood. Highly recommended, particularly considering the price - just an excellent value. And parking, though not on site, was a breeze.

    Great location in Foz - close to the fort and sea. Good staff and breakfast. WIth parking - tight and don't have a Range Rover.

    This hotel is situated on the coast, quite a distance from the centre, however it does have nice views and the local area is quieter than the tourist area. Hotel itself is nice with large clean rooms in a traditional style. Beds are comfy and the showers are nice. Only let downs are the sub standard internal noise proofing and the rather indifferent staff.Good breakfast available.

    My friend and I loved this hotel. The rooftop pool and lounge with a fantastic view were a bonus. Rooms very comfortable and front desk friendly. Highly recommend walk along beach at sunset

    Good location, an easy walk to the beach and close to restaurants. Rooftop pool and deck - we had to pay €1 for a pool towel, which seems petty. Rooms are small. Service at front desk is not friendly or helpful. Even though check in was at 3:00 room wasn’t available until 4:30. Breakfast is decent.
