    Such a charming hotel. Really enjoyed our four night stay here. Our bedroom was on the ground floor with a lovely view of the garden - bed so, so comfortable and I loved the shower. Ambience of the hotel was lovely and all the staff excellent and very helpful and friendly. So nice to stay in a privately run hotel rather than one of a chain. Very conveniently situated .

    You won't be disappointed staying at Caleway Hotel. The rooms are spotlessly clean, tastefully designed with quiet spaces available for contemplation. Paulo and staff were very warm and welcoming. Organised transport, assisted me with internet issues I had with my phone provider back home. Nothing was too difficult. They gobour of their way to make your stay comfortable. The beds are very comfy. The hotel is situated in close proximity to cafes, markets and the cruise ships. I'm so glad I stayed at Caleway Hotel

    The hotel is very well placed, we walked almost everywhere in Gaia. The beds were amazing, very comfortable and everything was very clean. There was a coffee machine available in the room which was also very nice. The breakfast on the other hand was very poor, and has almost no variety.

    Lovely hotel with a tranquil garden inside. The rooms were modern, tasteful, clean, quiet with minimalist design. A nice breakfast was included and the location is close to the port and bridge which allows you to cross over to the old town. Comfy beds. I would definitely stay here again.

    We booked this hotel because of its location and we were so impressed. We've just booked to return.A very short walk from the River front and easy to find. The area is World Heritage we understand and this means although the hotel within is perfect, the outside has its look as it was before refurbishment and addition of the modern block.Fabulous receptionist who took us to room Q on the second floor of the new block, lovely views over the gardens below and the Ponta De Arrabida Bridge.Our room was spacious as was the bathroom, plenty of space to hang and store clothes.Breakfast was especially nice and I agree with other reviewers in the quality, especially with the home baked cakes.The honesty bar was a great idea.The room had hot dink making facilities and a safe. We left our luggage with reception on our last day.So close to World Of Wine as well.See you next year.
